getting jealous...
Whoa, I'm really looking forward to getting back to NZ now! Thanks for the updates, and keep them coming so I know what is out there for my travels! Actually things are going well here, and I don't find myself TOO anxious to get done in McMurdo. Probably next month the itch will set in. My cube is pretty lonely without anyone around, but I'm glad you're having fun!

Almost, only counts in horse shoes
Beautiful scenery. Enjoyed reading your journey. Does seeing the rookery count as an actual Emperor penguin sighting? They do live there, right?

Shackleton's Grave?
Well Keith, Antarctica was the single greatest adventure of my life, and your friendship was an important part of that. I laughed when I saw my picture. You're a better writer than me, keep it up. I'll be following your exploits. And I haven't forgotten about South Georgia. Mike

Wow!
What a great finale! As usual, very nice pics. I love the one you took of the bottom of the ocean. Just like Kate said, I feel like I was on the journey with you. I couldn't find the Heinz catsup bottle though:(....I must be blind! Best of luck to you and hope you can adjust to the warmer climate. Sincerely, Wendy from Detroit

The Hardhat and the Fish
Bless the hardhat! As hard as your head is, I know the hat helped out!! PGFWABF! The fish is amazing. It's almost as if he was posing for the camera. Quite a cute little guy/girl. Blessings, Son.

Deja vu all over again
I am surprised--things don't seem to have changed all that much since I wintered over at McMurdo in 1976 (except I bet the internet and satellite TV make a big difference).
