Yesterday was the first day in two weeks I saw the actual color of my feet they are now clean. My blistered hands are healing and my sun burnt skin is no longer pealing. I guess I would say that physically I feel fine with these aftermath conditions I could have just about spent two weeks anywhere but I didnrsquot I spent two weeks in the heart of Africa Malawi and in the forgotten dirt

So Dounia Tim Jarle Adam and I rented a car for 5 days to travel the north island. We woke up early and walked to the car rental place and began our adventure towards taupo. Once we got to Taupo we found the sky diving place where everyone was headed we signed up and about 2 hours later we were in the sky. My sky diving man was awesomehellip.he was singing to me the entire way uphellip and

The day began on a bus. We stopped the bus about 2 hours into the ride to see the location where lord of the rings was filmed. There we got a guided tour of the farm and the events that took place during the filming. Though I havenrsquot seen the movies it was still interesting to know that I was therehellip.maybe perhaps Irsquoll watch them now. After the movie set we ate lunch and quickl

Ok never did I ever actually think I would be in Tahiti Nopehellip neverhellip. But let me tell you those 26 hours that I was there was much needed and very much amazing. My on the beach bungalow had an enormous bed with a walk in closet. I front door view of the ocean. I patio with two launge chairs. And the bathroom was probably my favorite part. Imagine an entire bathroom with doors

Well if you havenrsquot let me invite you to auction yourself offhellip.if you choose not to do you may just learn from my personal story. Our fantastic boat created a plan to raise money for the starving kids in Africa. And naturally the best way we could think of is by auction off things we personally own. And simply because I had nothing that I desired to auction off I auctioned off my s

My steps clog to the muddy ground while drop of rain attached themselves to my eyelashes and I could no longer see where I was going. I slowly followed Kristin the shadowy figure in front of me as the coldness of the night numbed all of my fingers. The short walk ended in front of our new ldquofamilyrsquosrdquo home.
Are ship is currently located in a very bad area of guayadil. So in order to get out of the port one most go through extremely high security. So even though we were docked at 7ish we werenrsquot allowed off the ship till 10. and once we got off we werenrsquot allowed to walk anywhere so we had to wait 30 minutes for the shuttle to come by to take us 3 ft away. Once we finally made it into t

Neptune Day

So it was another day of class doing work or lying out. The difference though is that we had Neptune day the day we cross the equator. And for all of us who hadnrsquot ever crossed the equator by water we had to be baptized into shellback. There we were in all our clothes on the top deck of the boat getting drenched in salt water. We had to walk through fish guts kiss and bow to the king

I was sitting on a motorized canoe in a river that flowed from a waterfall. The color of the water was a sort of a pale brownish reddish tint from rocks made of clay. The surrounding was a tropical jungle with canopying trees with several large bright blue butterflies flying passed us as we neared our location. We got off the canoe and walked a good 15 minutes through the jungle passed sever

So I woke up the next day and ate like a horse and passed out in the sun I am now very very dark because of my nap in the sun. The time spent at the resort was more about relaxing and getting to know the other 4 people then anything else. I feel like I manged to get my roommate much better then I would have so for that I am very glad I did that trip.We went sailing on of the afternoons an

so what happened in panama

So I was stuck in the boat attending the media reception. And other then the tendered boats being really late everything seemed to go smoothly. I was again smiled and introduced myself to various people and was nominated to translate for some biologist. OKhellip.this was a very very bad idea. Place me on a stage in front of at least 120 people and ask me to translate scientific terminologyhell

trapped

A group of some of my favorite people on the ship were suppose to get off the boat yesterday night and spend 5 days away in the jungle and on an island. Their bags were packed and they were all crammed down on the last deck of the ship. They all waited vigorously for the doors to open to taste freedom to step on land. Two hours of patience all for nothing but small puddles of sweat and stress

I am currently in the Panama Canal

A few days ago we had a hunger banquet onboard the ship. And I realize that it doesnrsquot make much sense to have a hunger banquet on board a ship thatrsquos already prepurchased all of its food. However the concept behind the banquet made it worthwhile attending. Everyone was given a piece of paper with a colored dot on it. Depending on the dot you received depending on your social status.

One of my professors decieded to ask for criticism from the class yesterday and well one of the students spoke up and said the classes needed more discussion instead of him being the only person talking. He seemed to have taken it well when during the break me and her and a few other students were discussing random things and hadnrsquot noticed that he had walked in the room. Because there

So the latest news is that I had been fasting for Ramada to support my Muslim friends. First day I thought I was going to die I kept falling asleep everywhere. And when I finally got the chance to eat I ate basically nothing. But so far I have been fasting for 3 days and I think that is def enough. Today is a free day no class so last night was a very fun night. I had 3 tequila shots from smugg

Last night was spent at the University of Lisbon where the president provided us with dinner and an all you can drink wine venue. Free drinks and food So much fun. Plus they had the university band play music for us and some of the students were dancing. After the very fun dinner they took us out to our last night in barrio alto. When will I eve

The restaurant looked very elegant and expensive but it seemed like it would be nice cultural experience. We all sat down and had a glass of wine. After we had listen to the musicians play for a while I figured it was a good time to leave. When I was about to s
