Last Saturday I went with a bunch of other volunteers to clean up an orphanage in Boma. We cleaned out the rooms, painted the walls, threw out the old mattresses and replaced them with new ones, covered them in new sheets and hung new mosquito nets. [View Full Entry]

Im having a great time here in Moshi! In the morning I get up and go to Good Hope Nursery School where I teach English and Math to children 3-7 years old. They are great kids that need A LOT of attention, so add the heat and the amount of walking we do in general and Im pretty spent by the end of each day. I have between 25 and 30 kids in my class, it varies everyday depending on their home situation.
