That crazy Shelley Cat always has to be centre of attention! She certainly didn't think through the duct tape protest very well - especially then posting it online to embarrass us. We'll have the last laugh though - she needs to go to the vet in a couple of months for her annual injections and so that will wipe the smile off of her face.

Ash do you remember the fisher price camera we use to have as a child, with the circular cardboard cartridges.?
A certain smokey the bear was in it and was teaching us about fire safety in the American forest. It looked exactly the same picture as the one you took... Just 40 years different, I guess something don't change.

We had seen 'Smokey' at several points around the USA on the entrance to forests but kept missing the opportunity to take the photo. Fortunately he made an appearance on the outskirts of the Grand Canyon and so managed to photograph him. I thought he looked familiar but couldn't remember where I had seen him. Thanks for reminding me.
It was funny that you mentioned the circular cardboard cartridges because we saw one of those devices for sale in the Grand Canyon. Nicky remembered them as well and neither of us had seen them for years. The one we saw for sale had 3D pictures of the Grand Canyon.

jail I put Nicky (a long with her brother and sister ) in jail at Blackgang Chine, on the Isle of White, somehow they escaped.I see she got out of jail again x

To the Elkins Well what can I say, the pictures look good, and it's good you are enjoying your first few days in the USA, Ash that Bugatti would be the same rental per day as your holiday, but none the less very nice, I'm glad the weather is good, but I have to say its great here to which makes a change 20+ everyday. Jess loves your pictures and is keeping track also, so have a great time and look forward to more pictures
