we arived in spain after yet another plane delay with ezyjet with the anticipation of chaos due to their big win in the Euro cup the night before to find nothing out of the ordinary. we caucht the airport bus to the centre of barcelona where we found an information desk to help us find our appartment. once at the appartment we unpacked and set off to find some dinner. we wandered down las ramblas having a look at all the street preformers along the way and found an all you can eat resturant where the boys ate their weight in [View Full Entry]

Day 1 Split - Hvar We awoke from last night full of anticipation for our cruise. a lazy week in split. what can i say we really didn't do to much, laying low cos we are spending a week sailing the Croatian islands for a week... we have spent a lot of time lazing on the marina drinking wine and sunning ourselves on the beach. we did get a little local culture into us though... we have watched a lot of soccer and we did a walk under Diocletian's palace and walked up the church tower topped off with heaps of window shopping... we flew into budapest at around 5.30pm on monday the 9th for a two day stop with my mums cousin vilmi and her husband. they we so excited when they picked us up from the airport but this is where we realised how hard comunication was going to be as all the hungarian i know was learnt over a few to many glasses of cider in ipswich and they had very limited english. After all the turmoil of getting to London we finally arrived at Lachlan’s place in East Action about 15mins outside London via the tube. We arrived to a house FULL of friendly people, Tanya and Ryan from NZ, Tessa and Elyse from Melb. They are all living in a tiny share house, and with the arrival of the three of us it was quite cramped.
