| 21st November 2006 Ben | Hey Mate. - From: Adventure and wine - Mendoza in a nut-shell Craig, looks awesome. Sad to hear about the gooch pummuling. Push bikes are second only to the motorbike gooch molestation i encountered in cambodia, do you rmenmber that? Stil black and blue. Hope the weather is fine, london turned on a ripper today, 9 degrees, but at least the sun came out. Pity im working in a basement and so have little opportunity to actually see daylight (dark in morn, dark in afternoon) Earning the almightly pound however and at least get the chance to annoy sara/jo during the day in the office. Take care mate, try some paote if offered, u are supposed to spew after 45 mins then its the trip of a lifetime. Ben. |

| 16th November 2006 guaton loyola | hey dude - From: Sleepless in Santiago good luck on your adventure. the 'waterfall' you're standing in front is called "la fuente alemana" (ther german fountain) and was a gift from the chilean german community to the city of santiago in the early 1900s. the peach drink is called 'mote con huesillo' (good description, by the way). if you haven't already, you should go eat something at one of the restaurants in the central market (try the 'paila marina', at's a nice seafood stew piled with all sorts of sea food). the pastel de choclo is one of the best dishes (like shepherd's pie but with sweet cornmeal instead of potatoe). |
