Hi everybody, we are continuing our quest of the national parks and are currently in Zion. The place is fantastic, loads to see and do. Been on several treks in the park, including the Angels Landing. Wendy made it to the top, I am not so keen on heights so woosed out. We have been staying in out of the way places and find it hard to get to use the internet. Forgot the camera, so no pictures with this one, but will down load some fantastic stuff soonest. Travelling with 10 other guys in a minibus ..... mixed group, Dutch, Italian, Scotish, Australians. Yosemite first, Great waterfalls and scenery. Buffalo, Elk, Chipmunks...Everybody back on the bus. Craters of the Moon Park next. Pitching tents and trying to cook in the dark. Been put in to teams of 3 by our tour guide Andras.... One 'cool dude'. Yellowstone next, First wet Beaver for many! Hi all, we are now back in San Fransisco to start our tour of the National Parks, this will take about 28 days. No piccies this time, computer still running on steam. Well, our time at Lake Tahoe was fantastic. We stayed at the Rustic Cottages, at $84 a night, the guy in charge could not do enough for you, see the piccy 'Lurv Shack' for an idea of it. All coffee and drinks fresh and free, free razors, shampoo, conditioners etc...free mugs.. and he allowed on his pc for a while. Hi Guys, After last hash up of using this blog, we're all over the place now. I'm on one computer writing and Kev is on another doing the photos as it all went tits up last time. Hi all, Wendy writing this one. Flight was crap, had lined up all the films we wanted to watch.... but the in flight system crashed, so was pretty boring. San Francisco is freezing, up to 30 degrees lower than a few miles inland. They do a booming trade in fleeces. I think they should rename the place Lycraville.... all the young and beautiful people (and the gays) run and cycle endlessly. There are no hippies anywhere I felt really scruffy and out of place. The whole place is like trendy bits of London, property prices are astronomical, $1000000 for a smallish [View Full Entry]
