hello everybody i suppose its about time i wrote somethin on this thing but dont expect any pictures it aint so straightforward in these internet cafes, well when i say cafes i mean poky little rooms chock full of ancient computers well at least they are cheap! we are in puno on the shors of lake titicaca visited the floatin islands of uros yes thats right i said floating the people make islands out of reeds and their roots and live on them in huts made out of reeds and go fishing in boats made out of reeds they even eat them, they taste alright as it goes. talkin of food we ate guinea pig served up whole and roasted tasted ok would have been nicer but for the allotments worth of some really pungent herb ... read more

alright people just a quick message we are both well and enjoyin ourselves strugglin with the language a bit hardly anyone speaks english but we are enjoyin the challenge! spent a couple of days in lima normal busy polluted city then had 9 hour bus ride up the coast to huanchaco nice laid back seaside village hung out for a few days now in trujillo seein some ancient ruins and pyramids that are still being uncovered oldest civilisation in south america. had some film crew at the stalls near pyramid filming us while we pretended to be interested in the tacky souvenirs on sale, the director made us do 5 takes before she got the scene but im sure we gonna be big stars on tv here! well cheap here budgets going alright so far, dont ... read more
