Well it´s been awhile so let´s do an update. Last Saturday night I picked up ms. s from the airport and brought her back to Pangea Hostel. We left early the next morning for La Fortuna which was a four hour bus ride north of san jose. The small city was basically just a long stretch of road smothered with hotels and souvenir shops. the bus dropped us off in front of the little park as we trudged up the road for a half mile to the arenal backpackers hostel whcih is an affiliate of Pangea. The place was pretty relaxing. [View Full Entry]

July 13th Met a swiss guy named Jonas in my dorm room. We had breakfast and walked around San Jose for the day. Took some pictures. The bus took the interamerican hwy which is just a two lane road that goes from Alaska down to chile or argentina. So it took a long time because it´s not like there are expressways over here. So i arrived at the [View Full Entry]

Well I made it here safe and sound. The shuttle picked me up and took me right to Pangea Hostel around 10pm. The place is quite a secure fortress. Basically from the outside there´s just a wall with a door. once you walk in the door there´s a security guy there with a walkie talkie and we are standing in a foyer patio type area until we pass through another door and hallway as the security pages the front desk that we´re coming all the way in. The place is quite huge. when i arrived here there must have been [View Full Entry]
