So from florence we roll into the swiss alps!! Very tired on the bus after 3hours sleep from the night before, but still couldn't sleep!! We were stuck in traffic at one point for an hour and a half, moving about 10ks due to traffic lights limiting the flow of traffic into a 15km long tunnel through a mountain. Eventually made into Lucerene where we checked out swiss watches and swiss army knives, and did a cruise on lake Lucerne, which sold the cheapest beer in switzerland at 2 euro a bottle. Wow! What an experience. White water rafting in Austrian Tirol, on the way from Munich to Venice. Water was around 6 degrees celcius, and at first was freaking freezing even in the body-hugging wetsuit, but by the end of it we were jumping in for fun. It wasn't as rough as some of us hoped, but was good fun!! As we roll into services on the italian highway, I found the italians to be rude and unhelpful, and was thinking this is just gonna be GREAT. But how wrong was I, this place is the best. This will just be a quick one! After the last blog, I had an early ish night which was nice. The next morning was the drive from Berlin to Praha, with a stop off in Dresden. Very clean, pretty city. Made it into Praha around 4ish and were stuck in ridiculous amounts of traffic. Headed upto the castle district and saw that, walked back down to the old town centre, across the famous Charles bridge. Dinner at the hotel and out for another walk (we do ridiculous unbelievable amounts of walking, seriously.....) to see prague by night. What an amazing place, [View Full Entry]

So what exactly is the format for a proper travel blog?! After a few beers and half a bottle of red on the second night, I have no idea, so lets see what flows!! Flights here seemed ridiculously long. It was only about 24hours, the 9 hour leg we had great sets, personal tv screens, an empty plane and heaps of legroom. Brilliant. Bangkok airport is positively HUGE, we walked for sriously 30 minutes and still weren't at the opposite end yet. Waited for like an hour and our flight arrived.
