| 15th October 2007 Diane | Good to hear from you - From: Allahabad, Agra and Delhi Just when I begin to worry, I get a message from you and once again marvel at all the sights that you are experiencing. I love hearing from you and seeing the photos. I know next to nothing about India but am learning from you. My friend and coteacher, Joan, has a daughter working in India. Wish we could get you together with Molly. Nick just turned 65(!!!!) and of course I held a party. Colleen and Lisa were great helps. My Chicago family is smaller than ever and soon Colleen will be moving to Milwaukee so I am enjoying every day that I can with her. Young Nick came in for a retreat and joined Nick, Jason and Ben for a golf scramble at Cog Hill on Saturday followed by a birthday party at our house. Altogether, Nick had a great birthday and felt very loved and appreciated. He even got a cake from Maddy and Lily! What an amazing adventure you are on and it seems very strange to be hearing about life in foreign lands as we take one day at a time here in Lake Forest. I miss you and send you much love. Diane |
