Rachel & Sean - From here in podunk Evansville, this all seems like a dream! You are so fortunate to get to see all that part of the world, jealousy doesn't even begin to describe my feelings! Gotta ask about the pics, the people that dance with the fire on their heads, I'm assuming the people that dance with the water pots on their heads are close by??? Continue to have the time of your lives!!!!!!!

PLACE FOR YOU TO VISIT!!! - From: India is growing on us!
Rachel & Sean: Have you been to Gujarat state? I have a "friend" that lives there and would love for you two to come and visit. He is a computer programmer that I have managed to get connected to (via Gchat) at my office. Any chance you two will be in that neck of the woods anytime? Seany, maybe you could go see him while RayRay is studying yoga... Holler at me if this is something you'd like for me to pursue. His name is Hardik Kakadiya...

Good to hear from you - From: Allahabad, Agra and Delhi
Just when I begin to worry, I get a message from you and once again marvel at all the sights that you are experiencing. I love hearing from you and seeing the photos. I know next to nothing about India but am learning from you. My friend and coteacher, Joan, has a daughter working in India. Wish we could get you together with Molly. Nick just turned 65(!!!!) and of course I held a party. Colleen and Lisa were great helps. My Chicago family is smaller than ever and soon Colleen will be moving to Milwaukee so I am enjoying every day that I can with her. Young Nick came in for a retreat and joined Nick, Jason and Ben for a golf scramble at Cog Hill on Saturday followed by a birthday party at our house. Altogether, Nick had a great birthday and felt very loved and appreciated. He even got a cake from Maddy and Lily! What an amazing adventure you are on and it seems very strange to be hearing about life in foreign lands as we take one day at a time here in Lake Forest. I miss you and send you much love. Diane

Namaste - From: We are in India, but these pictures are of before we got here
SO SO SO glad to hear from you ...we realize that the e-mail takes forever.... if you can get to it.. but I was getting a little worried because I hadn't heard from you. Thanks for the pictures they gave us a little snapshot of the scenery. Edna and Gadi said that they did the same bus trip in India 30 years ago... but started in India and ended in Katmandu. Incredible isn't it. Erika and Charlotte are still here with us but leave for Grand Rapids tomorrow and then to Chicago and home Andre is really missing them (especially Charlotte) and is having withdrawl symptoms. We have had a great time with them and love to have Charlotte here (and Erika too) when we come home from work. Katie got a good job in Denver full-time at the Montesorri school. Dave and Courtney are settled there too (in Boulder) . We miss you and pray that you stay safe and have fun and meet lots of interesting people. We love you both more , Love Mom

Wow! What an adventure you both will be able to tell your children and grandchildren! We are anxiously awaiting pictures. I'm impressed that you were able to continue through those hardships and didn't turn back. That's a lot of mental, physical, and spiritual stress-especially for a newly wed couple. Congratulations on returning safely-and still married!!
