Around South America in 68 days After leaving Ft.Lauderdale, our first stop was Cayman Island, before arriving to Costa Rica. We docked at Puerto Limon and then took a bus ride inland about 200 km to get to the rain forest. The rain forest excursion was wonderful, and definitely a place I would want to revisit. Our next sighting of land was the passage through the Panama Canal which took all day. In the late afternoon we docked in Fuerte Amador, the port for Panama City. What a booming downtown, full of condominiums under constructions, casinos everywhere, and heavy traffic. You
