Shipboard life. Nice to see pics of you all having a great time on board. Hope the stomach is not expanding too much!! Just know the feeling. All that food and more. Where does it all come from and where does it all go!! (Don't answer that)!! If your anything like me you will get tired of wandering around endlessly doing stuff you would not normallydo - but hey enjoy!!
We are all ok down under, Bruce at Rachel's building THE woodbox. After much discussion I think they are back to the original concept. It's snowing in the South Island, roads and schools closed. Gale force winds predicted in this neck of the woods. All good, keep well and happy. Look forward to more news. LOL

Well done Matt Hey, I just want to say well done on writing your blog in such a thoughtful, insightful and entertaining way. I was a bit late to start, but spent a good part of the weekend reading about your journey so far, and thoroughly enjoying it! Keep it up
Thanks Hi Glenn, thanks for the message. I am enjoying the chance to write - keeps me sane and in some type of routine! We are in the UK - sadly rainy and cold but having a great time. Hope you are all well; hi to Sylvie & Thomas. Matt
Moving tribute. Thanks for a first hand account of your second visit. I was engrossed and only the smell of burning toast took me out of your blog/. We only remember the pre 9/11 towers but your personal feelings and what is obviously an amazing architectural tribute to that day that has resulted in a new New York.
Americans can do it so well. Perhaps Banksie could do a sabbatical there? He is in deep dung in a story that gets worse by the day.
Until we catch up on June 2 stay well. I have a VW Passat for the Manchester 8 days. Love to you both. Awaiting the pblication of the first novel! Your writing is great.

Going Well Hi Matt and Narelle, we are following your blogs with interest. It seems like only yesterday that you were sipping Heineken and wines in our lounge. Now you are halfway around the world sipping big tins of Fosters. What a life.
Great to hear about your adventures. I no longer have to borrow travel books from the library, I will just read your blogs with envy. Very impressed with your literary skills Matt. Did you take a night class in travel writing before you left???
Well done to you both, enjoy the trip, stay safe and we will see you on your return.
All best - Chris, Sal and Sean
Enjoy! Dearest Matt and Narelle, I hope this trip fulfils all your dreams, can't wait to read all about it and looking forward to seeing you both after 8 long years. Kate xxx
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
