I started the day just like yesterday, got up…got ready….took the Metro to “Opera”…went to school. Class was pretty boring today, we just repeated what we went over yesterday. Today I had to wake up at 7am again so that I could get ready for school. I had some orange juice and cereal and went to the Metro. I had to take 2 lines to get to the ‘Opéra’ stop. When I got there, I had no idea where the street that I needed was. All I knew was that it was a road that cars aren’t allowed to drive on. So, Jasmine and I got up early this morning so that we could get to the museum when it opens (9am), before there are a lot of crowds. Charro told us to take bus 45, but didn´t tell us where to get off. Luckily there was a really nice woman waiting for the bus too, and she really helped us. I woke up late today, at noon. My room is pretty warm, but not unbearable. Senora “Charra” made me coffee and I had an apple. I cleaned my room and got dressed, then Jasmine and I went to Sol (a ‘touristy’ place in Madrid). We walked around and went to an internet café. I talked and saw Ray - that was really nice. Well, I made it to Madrid. So far, it's only shown me the ugly side. I had a VERY bad 1st day experience. Where it all began... First, I got to DFW airport fine. I had to sit and wait there for around 3 hours. Finally I boarded the plane and got an aisle seat and nobody next to me, so that was nice, but it would have been nice to talk to someone.
