Queensland--Beautiful and Bank Breaking Everyday! Been there, done that! Bravo to you two intrepid travelers for exploring your mythical northern reaches, so you can tell us clueless all about it, and we don't have to go broke doing so. Ho--dead kangaroos, a rain forest overrun by wild tourists (surely in large, loud groups), and an expensive cat sail where you get to empty the toilets. Thank goodness for utopian delights through the Whitsundays and plentiful, hedonistic sunset wine that can make up for much--ya done good! Thank goodness I don't need to be there and do that!
Mind-blowing pictures and nicely scripted blog post :) Hi there! I was just randomly browsing through some posts and came across this one. I must say I couldn't ignore it.
Cheers! Happy travelling :)

A month since your last blog Far to long for you to go without blogging! The funky chicken....haven't thought about that in ages. Ales and tonics are the cure when accompanied by a few taste treats. Surfing the pistons looks fantastic and you are a skilled surfer dude. You are squeezing every once of happiness out of life...keep on keeping on. Amazing. Embrace the yin and yang.
Pitstop. Hey old boy, glad you had a good trip . I was following the Dip on FB so have kept up to date. Interesting your comment on the crowd factor. My last stint late last year coincided with John boy. We both said how the crowds had swelled. With a camp downstairs, the one at Beng Bengs , Diago's camp at the village and the 2 brazo camps and the soon to be Nipussi camp it's a shame to see, but it's interesting when you talk to Tarsi, Michael and the rest of the boys ,they want the development. They want a Bali type experience and that's understandable considering they live most of their life in a jungle , looking after surfers. Most on the older side. ? like most places times have changed.. By the way, nice cuttie ..
Unesco World Heritage Sights So much beauty. There is a lot of history to consider. Sounds like there are a lot of rules to learn and follow. I think I could enjoy that structure. You've had an interesting trip.
Tah, thanks Tora tora Tora...dont mention the war,... don't throw any star knives,.... I always wondered how Shintaro could jump backwards into the corner of the ceiling...
but I do know how the Tahs won against the Rebels - be brutal!
Gary and Penny, from the beginning... Again. Round the world for a year in 07 and we've decided it's time once more. So packing up the house, the jobs, selling the cars and up up and away, this time with no return ticket and no fixed itinerary. A smidgin reckless, sure, but what the hell. May as well indulge in a few passions before the last great journey in who knows when.
Stay tuned and please stay in contact, cause whilst we love seeing what the rest of the world has to offer, we also love receiving news from home base.... full info
