So jealous of what sounds like amazing shopping!! The shopping in Europe was either very cheap or very expensive!! Note: in Louis Vuitton there are no price tags, however that does not mean free purses :( Glad to hear that you are all having a great time (minus elephant poop-strap rash)! Poor Elephants
We were planning on adding the elephant trip to our itinerary, I don't think we will. As I am very sensitive to the treatment of animals. I think watching them being hit to satisfy our needs would be heartbreaking for myself. I too would rather just enjoy them in their natural state. Not tied down like slaves. May they be blessed with kind owners someday in their future.

Well guys, you are having quite the adventure so far! I am having a small fraction of fun just reading about it. It gives me some entertainment when I just cannot work anymore and I want a pretend escape to an exotic country!!! Have a great trip and enjoy the beach portion of your trip!!! And keep up the shopping Anna Kate....sounds amazing! So jealous. hahaha

I worked out of Tembe Elephant Park at the school across the road for a couple months in 2007, and just love that area. The park is probably the closest place you will find post cards. If you need some stress relief (and you will!), go to the park and just sit in one of the hides. Only sounds will be birds and breeze, and you can watch all manner of critters stroll by. I could spend hours there. Being Canadian, I know that OT is the British term Operating Theatre, but can't process the RU. Hope you enjoy and have an amazing adventure.
