I wont bore you with the detail of the journey back up, pretty uneventfull really, except i lost my amazing hat (typical eh?), oh haha, and i think we got mistook for doggers! so after our mad days, thankfully some (more) of our friends from thailand live not far from the mountain so we could retreat with a nice cup of ginger tea in a house as opposed to our van..... luxury! very good to catch up with the girls again, and you could see the volcanoe from the end of their street which is amazing... the austrian girls werent that impressed cos the Alps are on their doorstep, but all i can see from my house (if im in the loft) is tunstal hill....so it fair to say it impressed me..... must [View Full Entry]

so... first stop taupo, with the biggest lake in the southern hemisphere..... and the cheapest place in the world to do a skydive (i think... dont quote me...) alot of nz has all this naturally hot water, alot of which is just in 1950s pools which you just go and chill in (i taught my mate how to swim in one) but we found one just in the river..... very nice, especially cos we hadnt had a shower cos we sleep in car parks..... got there near about sundown, and it looked like a postcard.... all the steam rising and [View Full Entry]

well, the weather got better and even better news for you lot... my lovely mother and father lent me some money for a new camera, so we have fotos agen! not right now, but there will be soon, promise!
