I wanted to visit Thailand after reading couple of blogs and seeing ko Phi Phi pictures in travelblog. I am planning to visit this country since 2007 but could not able to due to work.Finally the time had came during New Years eve 2011.Spent 11 days in magificient Thailand visitng Bangkok,Pattaya,Phuket. Took day trip to Ko Phi PHi from Pattaya and it is all worth the wait. Maya Bay,Ko Phi Phi Don, and wonderfull speed boat cruise to Ko Phi PHi all worth the wait I am doing for. Sea Food in Patong deserves special mention especially the fish fry in Thai style. KFC style chicken in Pattaya. I had tasted couple of local dishes also but I could not remember the names.Street food is amazing in Pattaya beach road. ... read more
Loch Ness : started from loch lomond in the morning towards Loch Ness and the plan was to catch ferry which takes inside loch ness.....on the way funny things happend : we were actully looking for a fort to visit in fort william after allmost half hour searching driving through the corners of the town we found out froma friend that there is no fort in town to visit and its just the name of the town: my immediate doubt was how the name of the town 'fort william' is justified if there is no fort in town!!!!!!!!! we continued our journey after wonderfull lunch with take aways from morrisons sitting by a beautiful lake. last ferry trip into the lake was at 3 pm which we are actually aiming for again funny thing happend by ... read more
Loch Lomond YHA
Road trip from South West Taunton to Scottish Highlands around 1336 miles over 4 days. Bit tired of long drives but the Hilly Rides and wonderfull views of Highlands made this a special trip. Stayed in YHA throught out our trip and stayed in best scenic spots and heritage buildings.
