Hey all... well i hope all is well, Spring is almost coming to an end and so is my trip but the way i like to see it is the summer is round the corner and so there will be loads of BBQs waiting on my return.... :) HINT HINT!!!!... Hola Amigos!!!!... This last 2 weeks i have been staying in Panajachel in Guatemala studying Spanish. Its a little village next to the beautiful lake Atitlan which is surrounded by volcanoes and many indigenous villages. Its been great staying in one places for so long and actually also doing something new and productive. Learning Spanish has been really difficult for me the first 2 days my head was simple pounding and i would be in bed by 9pm. Ah... Final farewell drinks with the "Absolut Peru" crew was another late one, didnt get till after 3/4am. We was lucky had a live entertaining salsa band playing at the Cuban club so got a little salsa in. Unfortunately didnt get chance to really dance salsa with any one but had great fun teaching Richard. Starting the Inca trail. The night before the big day everyone was so eager to get packed and ready but all our washing didnt arrived till late and we were all a little frustrated as they had promised to deliver it by 7pm and we all wanted to be done and packed so we can enjoy a nice relaxing dinner.
