Good to Hear - From: Arrived in Sardinia
Yes there are too many hidden costs with RyanAir, so stay away. If you have time (and I haven't done a lot of research) perhaps you could take a ferry across to Italy from Spain, otherwise try a different airline!

Swaying with swayze - From: From Ireland back to England
No way was he a great actor but I am currently seeing his last TV serial The Beast and adds something to the unorthodox FBI agent he plays something part of the character that seeps into the whole show dark (more crime you solve the more there is) and the need to act and act appropriate to the urgency of the situation. Which might explain why he got the role actual life situation but anying I never been a Swayse fan but he is very good here. Take care and nice to hear from you and your travels

- From: Santa Caterina market and my search for casuelas
Try asking for "cazuelas" -"cazuelas de barro"- instead (Pronounced "kathooehlas"). I think you can find them at any supermarket or potery shop or even in chinese cheap 'all 1 euro' shops.

Yum yum yum - From: Tate Modern and Swing Dancing
Lovely to hear all your news Chris. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time, doing heaps and having fun - swing dancing eh? V impressive. And isn't the Tate Modern fabulous - all those familiar images that you normally only see in books. And did you feel the vibe in the Rothko Room?! The Borough Mkts are wonderful - I was there a couple of years ago and loved the Spanish marinated garlic cloves, the abundant chocolate store and the scary fish stall. I also ate the best cheddar I've ever eaten in my entire life from Neal's Yard Dairy. I'd never considered England a cheese destination but wasn't I wrong. Wish I was there enjoying all the sites, sights, sounds and tastes! Keep your news flowing - along with the food and wine of course! Lucy.

Hey CJ, great to hear from you and that you are having a wonderful time. Did you have a hangover after all that beer tasting? You are not missing much here apart from lovely weather, and at last the weekend is approaching. Yippee. Almost the first week of your trip gone, how time flies. You may well be in Berlin by the time you get this comment so I hope the trip has been great with many more stories to come. Great photo's! I look forward to hearing about your travels and will catch up again soon Lec

Hi Chris, The common consensus is more pictures less writing. You must realize I only buy books with pictures for this very reason. If you run out of film you could always draw us some pictures (by the way great seagull). Hope you make it to a football match and don't get to fat on those broken eggs. cheers bobsta

travel in Bilbao - From: I say Bilbo you say Bilbao
Hello Señor Jack, My name is Carlos Rodriguez. I was born in Bilbao and have also travelled to many places in the world. You would not believe but since i last came home i live in the apartment in your photo! It is an amazing coincedence. I wish you well travelling in my country but I think you have some things to learn about the basque people. For many years we struggled our factories closed and our way of live was hard. My grandfather has 6 brothers who all left Bilbao to have better living. I am the only one in my family to come back and now we can work and make money. No we are not set up for tourism Mr Jack. As you see my place has many colors we are trying to make things good. You make a joke about Bilbao bilbo you say-very funny Mr Jack. We are not laughing much. My friend help to build the beautiful work outside the mueseum and you say it is dedicated to the the weather. this is also not funny. I have friends who do not like the tourists but i see you are trying to be better. I think maybe you are a good man. My friend also lives in this building and he is one that works with-what you call being in the fight. Do you know? He has many rooms and is good for nowing real basque people You can be with him for a real Bilbao not only Bilbo! Carlos P.S I'm not surprised Mick and Sal's place was a Withnail-fest!!!!

Macarena info - From: Hola from Sevilla
Macarena is the name of the local virgin in Sevilla (Virgen de la Macarena) and thus a very common and typical name for sevillian women. You can meet hundreds of women called Macarena there. The famous dance Macarena was created by a couple of 'folk' singers from Sevilla. So probably (but not for sure) the Barrio de la Macarena does have something to do with it. ;) If you are coming to Granada and like viewing cities from above, have a coffe in the Alhambra Palace Hotel, near the Alhambra, there's a nice terrace. It's not the cheapest coffe in town but the place is worth it. Have a nice stay.
