Having finished off Kansas, work sent me north. The states of Iowa and Wisconsin were next. After I was done with work and the van, I had a chance to spend a free day exploring Minneapolis. [View Full Entry]

Me, homeplate and house

Sorry for the gap bwtween entries. I believe that it has been a couple of months since my last one. But, as you will see in coming flood of entries, I've been very busy. Way back in March, work sent me on a trip to drive all the limited access highways in Kansas. Instead of having it done in a boring company car, they had me in an orange minivan with cameras on top. You can imagine the looks from passerbys. Here are a few photos from my work adventures in Kansas. Enjoy! [View Full Entry]

In March, I was sent down to Oklahoma City for some work. I was actually somewhat excited about being sent there. I'd traveled many times thru this city, but had never really stopped in it (except for gas). It was time for me to get to see what OKC was really about. Grace, Cory, my parents and I made a quick trip to Austin to visit some old friends (Doug and Rebekah) and to attend the Kansas-Texas basketball game. We had great time in a wonderful town (except for KU getting their asses kicked in the game). Also got to visit the Austin Museum of Art. They had a neat Christo/Jeanne-Claude exhibit that Grace really enjoyed. [View Full Entry]

Nice band names
Tip off

Last week, I had the pleasure of being able to drive clear across the wide state of Texas along Interstate 10 (all on the company nickel). First, I flew into El Paso on the morning of Feb 3rd and picked up a new Honda C-RV at a local dealership. This was the first part of my work in Texas. My job was to deliver it to a coworker in Houston. Now it off to San Antonio via the broad expanse of western Texas. Pretty cool scenery. I thought it was neat to see so much empty space for such a long [View Full Entry]
