Aloha, boingiornio, gutenbag, no wait what language do they speak in Belgium? Beligianese of course. So bobblybum to all of you! Our last proper entry was in Prague over six cold months ago. We've been having a wild time in a whirlwind tour through 'central Europe'. Poland was wonderful, Cezar spent time with his relatives and Tracey got to nod and show off her excellent beginner Polish (including the phrase 'no thank you I've had too much food.'). We highly recommend having relatives and visiting them often. Since Berlin (which was wonderful in absolutely awful weather) we've visited Munich, Bern and Paris. Munich had the kind of cuisine you would feed your enemies insisting they eat everything. The only sight of vegetables would be things that were pickled so long ago it wouldn't know that Prussia's ... read more

Thank you to everyone who's commented on our blog entries and apologies it took all of a month to approve them. Now log in to FB and check out the photos we've uploaded. They'll take you from Venice through to Budapest, across the border into Vienna over Brno (sorry!) and straight into Prague. Where we arrived two days ago and were a bit disappointed. It was only when we found The Charles Bridge and hence 'The Old Town' (there's no Czech word/s for city square apparently) that we witnessed beautiful Prague. A (good) walking tour later we're in love with this place. We even tipped on a free walking tour (unheard of)! The tour guide sprung another surprise on us and recommended we joined a paid tour to visit Kutna Hora, home to an apparently famous ... read more

It´s been a while. We greet you from the absurd keyboards of Vienna. Where, and you won´t believe this; they´ve swapped the z and the y keys but nothing else! Enraging I know (take note of each use of both). We have precisely fifteen minutes in the world´s 2nd slowest internet cafe (noone will ever catch those thrifty Sudanese), so we´ll catch you upto speed and wine and dine you with our stories when you come visit. Firstly, Italy. As anyone who´s ever been or is Italian will know, Italians are the most awful, impatient, rude, ill tempered folk on earth (Hi Liv!). Regardless we lots of fun looking at old depleted buildings in Rome (I mean the monuments of course.), enjoyed sexy Florence and had a bizarre but fun time in Venice (a city ... read more

Just a quick entry tonight, we´re on a twenty minute time limit. We saw the Guggy today and it´s big and scaly in the ways you´ve always imagined. Inside was spectacular; the Anish Kapoor and Richard Serra engaging in ways we´ve never seen before. Hopefully we figure out how to do photos and you can see standing in front of the Eiffel ´toothpick´ Tower. Hola muchachos! Tomorrow we´re off to some place called Barcelona. Hmm... Adios!... read more

Hola! Senorita, gracias gracias mucho ale dente! ...or something. We send you greetings, words and love from Madrid. It´s a strange city, especially for tourists. There are no must see landmarks or buildings, instead the city´s a way of life. Everyone seems to be here for the nightlife (we´ve got as close as a litre of delicious Sangria with dinner). We´ve quite enjoyed it here, it´s been surprisingly authentic, no one speaks English and there´s no real tourist traps apart from the very city centre. It´s much cheaper than we expected and even siestas make sense (it´s so exhausting without one.) We have plenty of photos, but no computer will get along with our usb. Everyone´s very friendly here and apart from breakfast the hostel´s great. Tomorrow we´re off to San Sebastian on our way to ... read more

Hello everyone! We will be fulfilling only half our promise (a quarter really as only Tracey promised it, I merely suggested it. =P) and instead procuring your travel sickness (the opposite of being home sick) with photographic evidence of our exploring and photoing Europa! We're in Paris right now and computers have usbs but they are upside down (! ! ! !!!!!) ! and don't accept jpgs, oh the charming French. We're having a great time, so far on our wonderful first day. Here's to another couple of months or till my bank account is riddled with debt! To bankruptcy and beyond. Regards Cezar Love Trace... read more
