Why is it that certain (very important) world events are over-shadowed by news of popular celebrities? Just the other day, I was in the car listening to a speech given by Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, and my roommate and I rushed into our house to watch his speech on CNN... unfortunately other breaking news was on. That news was about actor Matthew McConahey(?) getting in a fight with paparazzi at the beach with surf buddies. WTF??? The complete opposite of the above explained happens in Europe.
