12th April 2008 would have been our Mum's 60th birthday so we decided this was the day we would book the trip. We met up for some dinner and drinks then went back to book online. We booked with http://www.acrossthedivide.com on an Open Event, and after wrangling with the online booking form (which apparently is quite new), we registered and then went out for yet more alcohol. Steve is far too excited and is losing sleep even though it's 10 months away. He's even changed his desktop wallpaper to 16 different pictures of the Northern lights. I am just simply teriffied!
