Aly and I ended up going to Dublin on our own, even though the class trip was cancelled. We got into Dublin and found a hostel to stay at. It was a scary experience. We were in a private room on the top floor and the fire alarms went off. We didn't do much, we ate at Burger King but it wasn't like the food from home. We went shopping the next morning then got on a bus home. We have jobs here working at the Med Bar. We work friday and saturday nights eight to four am! Today Aly and I bought a fish from the petstore in Carlow. They are named Sam and Ella. Everyone in America said it doesn't snow in Ireland but it has been snowing for the past two days. At home in Illinois we usually get snow by the inches and sometimes feet so I'm sick of it. It's funny to see all the Irish people amazed by the snow. They have been cancelling classes and everything and we hardly have an inch. We were supposed to go on a class trip to Dublin today and that got cancelled.... read more
