I am currently doing my PhD at the University of Nottingham. I am doing research on how and why tourists blog about their travel experiences. This research is really exciting at this stage as the tourism industry is gradually acknowledging the importance of travel blogs as narratives of tourists. They now realize how travel blogs are worthy of examination.
Sounds serious.. hmmm.. but i am just like any tourists, when I am not working on this research, I travel as much as I can. I recently developed a love for historical places and amazing landscapes... well since I got to UK.. I plan to see more of UK :-)
Hello again! just want to share some pictures of my trip to Elan Valley, North of Wales... the landscape was really really beautiful..especially looking at the magnificent lake reservoirs.. there are about seven lake reservoirs but we only managed to get to three of them... It was freezing and the roads were icy (we even skidded one time).... I just took the pics fast and run back to the car.. it was really freezing.. i guess you can see it from the expression of my face haha anyway do enjoy the pictures.. the pictures dont really reflect the beauty of the place .. we could have taken better ones..but not when we were trembling with cold hehehe!!

Some are okay, some have more interesting stories.. and some are really really old and has seen so many battles. Chepstow castle was built in the 10th century. It was in the border town of Chepstow between England and Wales hence, it played a big role as a fortress. I am posting a few pictures for now ... see for yourself..
