Hi everyone! Well I'm proud to say that we, not only survived a ten hour train ride to get to Goa, but we've finally made it to a new state in India. We specifically came to this part of Goa to meet my aunt and uncle from Toronto, who are traveling in India as well. Tomorrow, we are suposed to meet them for a boat ride to see the wild dolphins. Samir's article. We're in Goa now, which is a completely new state. We're at a hotel which isn't too far from the beach. The beach crowdedness is some where in between Varkala and Kannur, but the other beach is really crowded, so we stuck with the closer beach. The waves here are semi big so we rented two boogie boards. That was something new, which is good because I am literally sick of the beach. Jamil. Hi everybody its me. A few days back we were at a place called Costa Malabari. It has a beach there that is pretty nice. We played some cricket here, if any one knows that sport, but I don't have any pictures of that. I'll try and send you some pictures later. There are some crazy steps there that I have a picture of. Hi! I just wanted to tell you about our houseboat trip though the 900 kilometer backwaters. we went from Varkala to Alleppy, where the backwaters are. we took a train there that was at least 4 hours and finally arrived at our hotel room. the next day we set of on the houseboat. we had rented the boat for the 2 of feburaryand stayed there over night. Samirs article. It's been a while since I've written, so there should be a lot. About a week or 2 ago, we went on a cruise through the backwaters on a house boat. The water was calm, the wind was cool and the nights were buggy. It turned out that the guides wanted to stay at shore for the night, to get free electricity from the village. We saw some monkeys dead on the side of the road. Just kidding man. There was a cute monkey in his mothers arms, alive. He had a scary face, though. There also the alpha male. Hi, It''s Alia again! I hope you are having a great time back in the Westren hemisphere. I've been having a fantastic time here, and I have lots to write about. Hi Vancover its me again, Jamil. Yesterday, we were at a beach that's called Varkala, which is on the Arabian Sea. These are just some of the many pictures we have. The hotel that we are staying in is called Bamboo Haven. When we first got there we went to a resturant called the Blue Moon cafe. I got a new soccer ball which we used to play soccer on the beach. Samirs article. We are at the beach, finnaly, which is just like the postcards. We came from Cochin on a 4 hour train ride but we had no clue when to get off, so we basically jumped off while the train was moving. We have a hotel in a place called Bamboo Haven which is really nice and right by the beach. The beach is like Ambleside, except the waves are bigger, stronger and more often. And the beach is nicer.
