Amboise - heat wave I remember Amboise well..... there was a heat wave! I found an air-conditioned internet cafe to hide in for the afternoon and got an e-mail from Dan offering me a job!
Glad to catch up!! Julie was talking about your blog the other day so I asked her for the address. Glad to see what you are up to! Pamplona, Puente la Reina....those are places I walked through so they instantly conjure up memories. Getting very wintry there now I see!!! Will have to read what you have done and where you have been. All the best,
Margaret R
Playing cards YOUVE WORN THEM OUT, bugger the quality cant be as good as I thought, not tell anyone you have only had them a few months....
If you have an address you know you will be at at anytime then send it and and I can post some more to you, dont want you go without......
Italy, havent been there, well I havent been to alot of places you have been to, Dad wanted to get to Venice this summer while he was here but time didnt allow it, so he went to Switzerland instead, down South in the apls, he loved it there. Well done to the boys on there fishing, they could fish all day and then sell them at the market.
Yep things are indeed getting colder, another frost this morning, and the afternoon cooled down quite quick, you will indeed look the part wandering around with shorts. Again it was our pleasure to have had you all here, glad you all enjoyed it. Right dishes to be done, we found some venison in the butcher today so that was nice to have for dinner. Keep up the good work. Who is going to be in charge of putting all the blog pages together and making a book, it would be a great memoir.

warm and happy in italy It’s great to hear from you all. We’ve been meaning to write for some time now. We use the cards nearly every day. In fact we’ve just about worn one pack out. The kids all shout when they get the bone church.
We had a great time staying with you all but there been one side effect it made the kids a little homesick. It was a little too much like staying at Granny and Pops. This is a huge compliment by the way. I aspire to be more like Granny cos according to the kids she is extremely fun and cool. So thanks for such a great time. We loved it.
We’re in Italy at the moment and unfortunately our first impressions haven’t been that great. It feels a little like we’re in an industrial waste land. Haven’t seen any more than two clear paddocks at a time. We’re hoping it will get better.
Heading toward Pisa today to stay near there. We’ve booked an apartment so we’re quite excited about that having more than one small room to live in. It reads like there’s some space so we’re hoping to find what the internet actually advertises. From there onto France, Andorra, Spain and back through France to cross back into England. Oh yeah we loved Slovenia. It’s a great place. Fantastic people. It was clean and open. Croatia we only got to Istria and we loved Rovinj and we got to go swimming, not that other people were. I think we’re the only people left in t-shirts and shorts. But we sort of had to leave Croatia because all the campsites were closing.
Thanks again for such a fantastic time.

You guys are having fun Hi there you wordly travellers. WOW it sure sounds like you are keeping that fun barometer running high...........what great reading. Who is going to write a book when you get back(it wouldbe a super idea).
All good here in Czech, you know just the usual, horse riding, bbq, gardening, biking.............well not so much the bbq anymore, Autumn is well and truly here, the trees are bearer and bearer, the colours less and less, and they say this weekend the clocks go back, so there goes an hour for being outside..................All good though, just trying to find where we can get a Braeburn apple tree for the garden. Ok, keep up the fun and sight seeing and keep warm.
