Ok, so maybe it was a little bit of vacation
This was a full throttle adventure with little time for relaxing, drinking and reading. And that is just what I had hoped. Vermillion crabs by the millions. I'll be they would eat that snake hanging in your tree. The Wild Ones are coming in the next blog. I think that the Dancing One, Dangerous One, Lovely MJ, Denise and I should meet somewhere. Now that would be an adventure!

Yay, nice to see Brenno back again. I may have to think of a travelling name for myself too! Loved reading this. These are the two places in my Ecuador trip in 2019 that I missed due to getting some kind of food poisoning in Quito - Cotopaxi and La Mitad del Mundo. Good to read about them here and see the pictures. I'm like you with the horse-riding I think - something to be done if needed, but not really my favourite cup of tea! Glad you had some good food as well, despite the airy empanadas!

Thank you Andrew. Yes, I think it is good to have an alter ego that goes traveling with you. We shall have to think on this. Ren and Drew bestowed Brenno on me. I am sorry you had food poisoning and had to miss that part of the trip. Cotopaxi was great. The horseback riding was nice, but would have been better on a sunny day I think. Still, staying open to new things is part of travel.

Well, through good timing and lots of luck, I am about to hit the skies again. It has been far too long since my last journey. As much as I love going to visit my family each year, the act of heading to the airport and climbing on a plane to the homeland lacks the edge, excitement and the element of the unknown that a trip abroad brings.
