wow the "mainstream" western world (or me at the very least) really has so little knowledge of real history, going back hundreds if not thousands of years. i packed up and left canada on the fourth waning gibbous moon of 2009... a one-way ticket to thailand in my pocket and a triple entry visa to thailand proffered for free from the thai government in my passport... this allows up to 210 days in thailand with three mandatory trips out (1malaysia, 2burma, 3vietnam, cambodia, laos)... many possibilities, no solid plan... just hop on and tag along for the ride... that's pretty much what i'm gonna do too...
