For those that dont know me and Karen, we are a quiet boring couple from Glasgow who enjoy cosy nights in and gentle strolls through the park.
For those that do know us, you will know that is absolute bollocks.

Remember us, Thought so I know its been a while and we have no excuse so you are not getting one. The south island was much the same as the North, lots of drinking partying and meeting some even cooler people. the only difference was EXTREME SPORTS. Our first stop was Wellington which is quite a big city and quite Boring really, our only highlight was the hostel room that we managed to wangle. Huge double bed, awesome bathroom and the most amazing balcony that looked out over Wellington Harbour. Next was a little town called Nelson which i absolutely loved, weather was sweet and had quite a decent nightlife but the main reason was that the hotel was owned by an irish couple and they sold a mean pint of Guiness and also did a ... read more

Alright people, AUCKLAND As karen told you, the Killers were on our flight to Auckland so that was quite a cool way to start our Kiwi adventure. Our first stop was Auckland which is New Zealands biggest city,we both thought it was ok but not great, the only good part was we went to a small island thats just across from Auckland called Russel and i had my first pint of Guiness for three months in a cool scottish pub, I even had a packet of scampi Fries. On our last day in Auckland we found some really cool shops at the top of the city that sold really nice clothes from local designers. BAY of ISLANDS and CAPE RIENGA We left Auckland and headed south to the bay of islands which as the name suggests ... read more

Hi people After the amazing Buenos Aires we headed south to Patagonia. we went to three places, Bariloche, Puerto Madryn and finally El Calafate BARILOCHE; To get to bariloche we took an overnight bus which takes about 16 hours but its not that bad, you get a huge comfy seat which folds right back, you get nice food and wine and champagne with your dinner. Bariloche is a beautiful ski resort were cool young argies go to party and hang out and the scenery is amazing, unfortunately the ski slopes shut the day before we arrived. We spent one night here and chilled out, it was bliss. PUERTO MADRYN; We had to get another over night bus to get here and we spent three nights here, on the first day we just chilled out and walked ... read more

Alrighty! Both Brendon and I are going to type about Buenos Aires because we have both fallen in love with the place, It gives London and Paris a run for it's money for sure and it kicks Rio's ass. We were having a bad day when we arrived Brendon realised his favourite north face jacket was missing, it was pouring down with rain and we were having trouble with our bank but still we thought this place was amazing and nothing could get us down. (Brendons jacket has been found and is on its way to Buenos Aires) It has an incredible buzz about it, there's always something going on, something to look at and the people are really friendly and refined. The girls are really funky and dress well. We parted from the group here ... read more

Hey! This was a little bit of a pleasant surprise for Brendon and I as we didn't realise Uruguay was part of the trip, after leaving Iguazu we left Argentina on a night bus to Salto the bus dropped us off in the middle of nowhere at 5.30 in the morning. Whenever we have been traveling over night we always get ready for bed and put our comfies on, so there we were in the middle of nowhere, half sleeping Brendon was in his lounging trousers tucked into his socks and flip flops on, a fleece, hat and sunglasses, he was styling it big time. He bent down to go into a bag and forgot that he had his backpack on and in slow motion fell back on to his backside, it was priceless. Then he ... read more

Hey people, Our trip to iguazu started off with me and karen taking a helicopter ride over the falls and karen got to sit upfront with the pilot, she was well chuffed. you start off about 3 miles from the actuall falls and you fly along the river that comes from the rainforest and you can see the falls in the distance and as you get closer the view is breathtaking, he circles round the falls a few times then heads back to base. From there we go to the national park on the brazilian side of the falls and as we enter we see these badger like animals just kicking about raiding the bins for grub. There are a number of viewpoints on the brazilian and they were all amazing, we also saw loads of ... read more

Hey, I know what you are thinking Brendon and i in a place called Party but no look again it's Paraty pronounced "parachie" this is also a very beautiful old fashioned place, a little harbour town with white wash buildings and art galleries. The town is built bellow sea level and when the tide is high the water fills some of the streets and the locals have to wear wellies to get into there homes, this has been happening here from day one and it doesn't leave any damage. On the second day in Paraty 6 of us from the group decide to hire a boat for the day, our tour leader tells us to relax for a couple of hours while he goes to negotiate a boat for us, when he tells us its under ... read more

Hey Folks! Brendon was being unkind about everyone on the tour, it´s just the average age was a little bit older than wee expected and there was defo too much gore tex for our liking (you know the type). But turned out everyone was cool, even the big German guy who came across as a twat turned out to be a great laugh, he even pulled a Brazillian girl about 10 years younger than him and we've arranged to meet up with a few people that were on the tour when we get to Oz. After leaving Rio we went to an island called Ilha Grande (large island) off the coast of Brazil. This place is amazing, they have no cars and the police kick about on golf buggies, it's like taking a step back in ... read more

Alright people I know you have not heard from us in a while, we are still alive and well but have just been to busy enjoying ourselves. We have loads to report so here we go. Big shitbag brendon finally grew himself a pair and went hang gliding over Rio which was amazing, We got picked up in the morning and driven up through the mountains that over look rio till you reach the very top and you are that high, the buildings look like small lego pieces. The guy then gives you all your gear to put on ( I thought Brendon looked like a ninja turtle in his gliding outfit, Karen x) and gives you a run through which consisted of "you hold onto me and when i say run, you run as fast ... read more
