So let me fill you in with the last month!!!! Jesus time passes quickly. So car had to be fixed so local bar gave me and jess work as they had been too busy therefore started work in the pub and guess what still here!!! Tried to leave last week and couldn't as car broke down again so came back to the pub! Left Brisbane by 4by4 and headed into desert with five other people, Jess, Ian, Anthony, Anika, Caroline. Quite a few Kilometres to travel to Birdsville to watch the races. 1602km to be exact. Took us three days of driving but stopped to stock up on alcohol and buy a sleeping bag cause obviously would be needing one it dropped in temp in the desert quite rapidly. Nope I wasn't being stupid spoke to some truck driver who was nice guy, married with kids and he travelled back and forth the area. Needed to get back asap so jumped into truck. took 15hours to drive but now safe and sound in Brisbane and it was free and obviously gave Jess all information to be safe so no comments, learn't fair bit about life of a truckie which was fun. Diving was absolutely awesome saw coral and fish and all sorts of magnificent colours and 'I like fish I do' Whitsundays as can see from pictures are absolutely beautiful! Whitesands is pure paradise and just little better than whitesands back home I think!!! For definate! Spent three days on boat and it was fun loved every second although eleven irish people can be a bit much, as all alcoholics!!!! [View Full Entry]

Not much going on here but a beautiful beach! Met three lovely girls, wasn't there with Sarah as she had gone up to mission beach with another two girls from fraser island. Went Kangaroo spotting on bikes, I wasn't exactly amazing but it was all good fun... saw some more sunsets and loads of kanga's, they're quite cute I'll try not to overload site with them but this was first time saw one! stayed only a day and a night! Right not being funny but there was a tumble weed going past the bus on the way to this place. Absolutely sod all there and the receptionist in a place called The Sugar Bowl is an absolute cow. Childers is a place for backpackers to work on the multiple farms fruit picking. Poor Rob far left in picture was working on tomato farm picking tomatoes. Arrived and set up camp in the oldest hostel ever stayed in which is forty minutes away from my diving shop which is all good fun when have to get to shop for 6.45 in morning so yeah bec obviously not being the best morning person in the world is all good fun.... looking glamorous as per usual not!!!!
