Czech Beer Festival trip

well this is my first ever blog entry so please be kind. I am all booked up to travel to Prague for the 4th Czech Beer Festival,I have been to two previous ones and enjoyed them so much a third has to be made and possibly quite a few more in the years to come. The Festival is running from the 12th to 28th may and is being held in the Lentnany exhibition area to the north east of the city,this is actaully very easy to get to as it is on the metro line (last stop). http://www.ceskypivnifestival.cz/en/ this link gives all the info. well of course it is. Thats my answer to the question of why I have visited Prague and the Czech Republic so often,Its the beer ,some of the finest in the wirld,yes i know the Belgians and the germans do great beer and there are lots of other countries producing some great stuff but for me the czech republic tops the lot. Actually I am more of a malt whisky man than beer but I do like both. I travel to Prague quite often because Iget cheap flights from my local airport (Edinburgh),if I had to go via London or Manchester I very much doubt I would be there on an annual visit,mind you the annual Beer festival would make it very much worth while going. A bit more about My Czech Beer Festival trip. I always think that planning a trip is almost as much fun as the trip itself,In my younger days this was done by getting guide books,reading up on various places ,watching geography and history programmes on TV, or just getting a map out and looking at what was in an area.The international youth hostel hand book was the bible of the independant traveller in these days but now we have the Internet and it has completely changed the way I travel and the way I organise my travel.
