| 2nd November 2009 kalesco | Hey there! - From: Wild Card in Sight, Wild Card in Sight Despite all your bad luck I still enjoy reading about your adventures a lot! And, as it goes, especially with this post I thought that you should persue becoming a writer. Beautifully written! And there you go and really plan to do this! Good on you! I would definitely buy something written by you - unless it is in Swedish ;) Maybe a travelogue about your adventures (maybe cut the boozy nights a bit ;) ) will do the trick. Anyways, all the best! And keep posting! |

I had promised to use the address given in the blog sooner or later ;) I am so glad that it actually made it - I was worried the little metallic thing on Snoopy's head would be reason enough to be qualified a national threat or something. I hope all is well in your wonderland, I'm still jealous as hell ;) Cheers! |

| 13th May 2008 sandra | yay for a good life! - From: All I Wanna Do Is Have Some Fun ... sounds pretty much perfect to me :) It's a shame you won't be able to understand my blog as it is in German, but let me assure you: you would find we're kindred spirits. Especially with all the friendships to men and complications when the concept of a platonic relationship is lost on them. Greetings, another tomboy |
| 1st May 2008 annis | - From: I've got sunshine in the palms of my hands DO come over! i need some female friends, and you seem like fun. soccer players are usually hot, and either way, i'm not too picky if it comes to only flirting (as my last entry revealed). stay in touch! ;) |
| 30th April 2008 willso | Hola from España! - From: I've got sunshine in the palms of my hands Good blog, how´d you like the lack of vege option at the nunnery? Going out.. well, anything really, is ridiciously priced in oz land.. 1€ beers are common here, and 50c a kilo for oranges! Heaven. Keep it real homie |
| 28th April 2008 sandra | hooray for you! - From: I've got sunshine in the palms of my hands Hi! I'm glad everything worked out just fine for you! I actually get the impression we might be quite the team if ever given the chance of going out together. Usually I'm more a groupie for soccer players but I tend to make a good job of making them nervous ;) Also the jealous girlfriend is one creature I get to know a lot - even though everything's usually only a bit of fun. Have a good week! |
| 16th April 2008 annis | - From: Damned If I Do, Bored If I Don't It would be nothing short of confusing if the only package I actually receive is from someone I have never met before. Still, I'm all for it! :) Keep us posted on the job and sponsorship. |
| 15th April 2008 sandra | hiyah - From: Damned If I Do, Bored If I Don't I hope you don't mind if I take your address and use it for subscribing to all the snail-mail-spam there is ;) No, seriously, I'm gonna use it, I promise! Cheers for you for finding a good home! I hope everything stays peachy! If I ever make it to Sydney (in time) we most definitely have to meet! All the best! |
| 28th March 2008 sandra | Confession - From: Be Careful What You Wish For and Ode To A Will - I admire you. And I really envy you for your attitude towards that little bitchy bugger called life ;) I am sure you'll find your way round this new situation - I don't know you apart from your little and much appreciated stories - but it seems clear to me that you'll always will. No matter what obscenity life throws at you :) However, I still have one more thing to admit: you inspired me to do sth I always wanted and never had the guts trying. I applied for a job in Sydney and hope I'll get a sponsorship. And even if this doesn't turn out the way I hope, I will definitely apply for a skilled migration thingy. Sorry for this outburst of admiration *g* - yet, it had to be said. Just one thing I don't understand - you landed yourself a job in Maroubra even though it's too far from everything? Or did I miss sth? Cheers! |
| 23rd March 2008 annis | - From: My new life has begun glad you enjoy my social fiasco! :) it makes it easier to bear when you know you get to share people's idiocy with your friends and random readers, so thanks for reading. |

| 18th March 2008 sandra | nice hearing from you again - From: My new life has begun hi there! congratulations on your huge (and successful) efforts of being tolerant against others ;) I don't know you but from the description of the various situations I too would have had a hard time staying quiet! the house and the apartment look awesome! I hope you enjoy your stay there and get along well with everybody. It's great that you know how blessed you are in having the chance to go anywhere you like... I'm 26 but I guess I'm already stuck here. Good job, nice flat, new car, 2 pets and all this... Anyway, good luck with the job hunting and keep on posting :) Cheers |
| 17th March 2008 Ian | Annis deserves a good partner! - From: My new life has begun "But my partner didn’t show up. “Just grab someone from the beginner’s class”, said Kim to our ref, and she yelled a guy over. Oh no you didn’t, I thought to myself, but it was too late. One look at this guy and I knew he would be horrible. “Hi, I’m Mike”, he said and threw out his hand at me. Oh great. Here’s Mikey, just waiting to suck. “Hi Mike. You play a lot?” “Ha ha! No, I just started playing in the beginner’s class, just fooling around, you know?” I wanted to answer “No, actually, I don’t know. I’ve never understood the point of just fooling around, and I doubt I ever will understand that, but it’s really great news for My living room My living room me that not only are you going to be a disastrous player, but you also lack the mindset to try to improve. Yay.” " This is seriously the funniest thing I've heard all day. LOL. You rock Annis, and I wish I could come partner with you in Australia. |

| 13th March 2008 potato | the string bikini theory of global warming - From: Phony phony My classes have their presentations this week and one group had the most creative idea about a positive feedback loop for global warming that all begins with girls in bikinis. Feminine exposure leads to lustiness, lustiness leads to increased population, increased population leads to industrial development, industrial development leads to greenhouse gas emissions, greenhouse gas emissions lead to global warming, global warming leads to feminine exposure.... and the cycle repeats Save the seals, wear a mumu |
| 10th March 2008 annis | - From: Things are looking up up up dear potato, thank you for dealing with this matter so promptly. as it turned out, paul the a-hole quickly assumed that i must be either gay OR only attracted to black men, a hypothesis solely based on my refusal to sleep with him. what other reason could i possibly have for not wanting to share his bed, other than above mentioned? |
| 10th March 2008 Diana | - From: Beach volleyball - at last! Hejjon! Är det något fult märke på din högra kind eller gillar du bara att posera med den vänstra på alla dina bilder ;-) Kul att läsa att du mår bra och att du äter hälsosam mat!! :) |

| 8th March 2008 sandra | good thing i was not there for mardi gras then - From: Day 4 - Mardi Gras Hi, I happened to stumble upon your blog and really like your writing and your attitude :) So I guess I will keep on reading about your adventures down under. I used to live in Sydney for four months for an internship and always wanted to go back there for a year or two. Alas, I have a job and a "life" now in Europe and can't afford to go to Australia for more than short trips. I only returned from Brisbane last week after three weeks in Oz. Anyway, sounds like it was good that I wasn't in Sydney for the Mardi Gras, as it would have spoiled my perfect picture of the city forever. I too despise festivals with loads of drunk and/or stoned people. So please keep up with the blog writing as I'm dying to know how things turn out for you! Good luck with everything! (You're lucky to be Swedish as I have no chance of getting a work and travel visa. I'm from Austria.) Cheers! |
| 8th March 2008 potato | - From: Things are looking up up up Paul has officially had his man card revoked and is from hence forth reclassified Slimy Cheesy Asshole Dick, or SCAD. He will be entered into the SCAD International Database and has accrued a formal Texas ass whooping, though I think the little perv might like it. Thank you for your participation in our effort to end the heinous stain of male SCAD affliction. Sincerely, Potato California Regional Director of the SCAD International Database |
