all of this traveling is finally catching up with me...i'm feeling pretty tired out and pretty out of the loop in my classes. its nice to be tired due to all the jet setting though, instead of from late-night library visits and a jam-packed schedules. its also seeming pretty strange to me to be flying all over europe and seeing all these amazing places...because it is so unlike how we all spend our money and time when in the states. but i'm checking off my list so many of the places i've wanted to see, but will definitely have many others [View Full Entry]

how exciting to be able to click "africa" for the blog continent. and now i've been to 3 of the 7 continents, so i'm almost halfway there, or exactly halfway if we don't count antarctica. so its been a little while since the amazing african non-safari, but i saved our itinerary so using that and my photos I should be able to relate the majority of the trip. well the trip started off bright and early because we had to meet for the bus at 7:45AM all the way down by the river. so i had a nice little morning stroll [View Full Entry]

sevilla holds two holy/fiesta weeks in the spring, which translates into two spring breaks for us. these breaks do cause our program end date to be later, but it's nice to have my travels split up instead of a 3 week backpacking trip at the end. as you've realized, at least a couple weeks have passed since my long (a bit too much so) trip through london, paris, and barcelona, but i will use my photos as a guide and try to detail as much as I can. it was a full eight and a little days of travel, so you [View Full Entry]

oh how nice it was to be back in spain! and to have only two days left of traveling (we were pretty worn out by this point, especially after the night of little sleep). landing in barcelona it was a relief to finally have signs in spanish again, although it followed the catalán words (the official language of the area, which i wanted nothing to do with) our ryanair flight took us into barcelona girona airport, so we had an hour or so shuttle to the main bus station in the city. the bus station sat right next to barcelona's own [View Full Entry]

As I have been far to busy sitting in the sun and watching TV on my laptop to document my spring break #1 travels, I have decided to first blog about my parents' visit since that is much fresher in my mind. Then I can backtrack to writing about my trip (hopefully before departing on my 2 upcoming ones).
