I consider the land of my birth – the Philippines, dubbed as “Pearl of the Orient Seas”, as one of the loveliest places here on earth. I vividly recall having this yearning for nature and the great outdoors even when I was just a little girl. When I obtained my AB Journalism degree from the University of Sto. Tomas, I thought this was going to be my passport in traveling to exotic destinations within my country and all over the world. My unforgettable experiences as a beat reporter, travel writer and editor for the past couple of years are treasured memories, which I hope will serve me in good stead when I sit down and write my memoirs as an avid wanderlust, say five years from now.

My first love and ultimate passion remains to be traveling and travel writing but the greatest loves of my life are my handsome and intelligent sons. Being a solo parent is a continuing challenge which I try to meet head-on no matter what the obstacles are.
I joined TravelBlog because this site complements my desire to keep on writing about my country as an ideal tourist destination. I think TravelBlog is a wonderful site in providing first-hand information to travelers and I’m pleased to be part of this network.
