Don't think you can go to the Galapagos and not meet George, I think its in their charter.

Well you know..
I was in the area, would have been rude not to go!

should have shaken
So, Galapagos, like thats cheap. I think you have busted the previous marker now (around 15 wasn't it?). Good job there's nothing riding on it, else we'd have to resort to favours.

Omg!
You too, eh? :)

I would imagine that yellow is an apposite colour for decorations that have been chucked up. Anyhow you should comfortably ignore instructions to avoid alcohol with painkillers, most tablets are just a catalyst, not the end of the world - think of the cash you'll save.

I take it you have learn't to avoid sitting over the rear axle of the busses, I did a 5hr journey being bounced between the seat and the roof once, not good. Hope your feeling a bit more lively now.

Hi there from Austria
I'm just on my sister's computer. Hope you had an eventful Xmas in Peru! How's it going? Still having fun? When we arrived we had some snow but nothing left now. We are still hoping to go skiing on 31st with my uncle. Fingers xed! When are you off to Canada? Are you flying to China from there? Take care and I'll try to go online again before I leave on 5/1.

Guinea Pigs
... watch the fur, it sticks in the back of your throat. Never tried alpaca. BTW I believe Chilean (..achem...) es pronunciado 'muy gracioso - usted piensa que soy un idiota?'

I saw Alpaca out on my ride today, probably colder than the ones you'll see! BTW Colca Canyons ok if you combine it with the cruz del condor place, try to stay overnight at the bottom of the canyon though...

That's an idea
Actually it had crossed my mind! Let's see what happens with the camera.

Heard the altiplano is disapointing at best, you probably won't need your camera. I'd come back now

Shame you stopped rambling, the cultural comentary was actually quite illuminating. Perhaps you might include some more?

not sure
I went to the recoleta cemetary in Buenos Aires and was great by this woman talking in the most outrageously toffy accent - I was trying to work out if she was taking the p... but apparently she did that to someone else!

Did you notice the anglophile vibe to Argentiana, I've read some things that suggested they were very pally with the Brit upper classes (polo etc) and that the whole invasion thing was a bit of a surprise to the aristos on both sides. Anyhow, apparently they have found oil in the Falklands, watch this space.... Take it easy.

Just to let you know...
...I have completely resisted making any sort of beaver related comment. Phew.. that'll be a relief then. I would be a bit put out if you had managed crab, given the face you pulled when I once made the error of serving it to you. However, I take heart in the fact that you ate mine without actually voicing a complaint. Bon Courage!

Oh yes?
When was the last time you camped in sub zero temperatures? You don't tend to sleep so well!

How camp!
Fitzroy was spectacular, have way too many photos. Camp was ok - a mess, latrine, a lake and somewhere to sleep! Sites in Chile were much better, tho, and I still have left over food!

Photos?
I already have 12 gb of photos...
