Weekend in Malta! Europe » Malta » Malta
My exams are all finished and I am sitting at the dining table at Auntie Catherine's house eating white chocolate off of a spoon. They spoil me! I can't believe I've left the castle! It makes me so so sad. Will reflect more later, as am dangerously sleep-deprived and pre-occupied with eating chocolate. [View Full Entry]

I'm in Moral Issues class right now so can't really type too much, ahaha! On the weekend, when to London's West End and Soho for a Human Geography field study, then stayed at Auntie Catherine's for the night and had a big Sunday lunch at her house. Saw Auntie Marguerite, who popped into the sitting room as a surprise. It was really nice being there for the weekend - realized that that would be one of the last times I would see them all in one place. Christian taught me how to play Yugi-oh, and we all played cards and video [View Full Entry]

Yes, I did! And I ain't ashamed, mwaahahaha. Okay, so I'm just going to paraphrase out of my travel journal because I have tons of work to do. So! In a nutshell, left for the Balearic Islands on Friday morning and managed to get back to the Castle in time for the last half of my politics class! Just had the most relaxing, adventurous weekend of the year! We burst out of the airport in Palma and spent the late afternoon being absolutely amazed by the PALM TREES and sunshine, and took our time strolling down San Miguel (shopping street), took [View Full Entry]

Okay so in 12 hours' time I will be chillaxing in Mallorca. Which is very well-deserved, considering the heinous amounts of essays/midterms I've had to write within the past couple of weeks. But I really shouldn't be complaining, seeing as in the middle I got to eat gauffre and laugh at the Manneken Pis and other things during our whirlwind trip to the continent. I lied last term about filling in text later, but this time I'm probably not going to try, ahahah. Sorry =(. Gotta finish packing!!!!! [View Full Entry]

These were photos taken during our trip to the London School of Economics to hear a Politics lecture, and our Human Geography 101 walking tour of the Docklands and the City of London. I wrote a whole essay about it, yay. We ended up not being able to see our politics lecture, because a protest group had taken over the building and were holding rallies to free Palestine, etc. Very weird thing to be caught up in. Speaking of essays, that's the reason why I haven't been posting many photos or doing anything much, for that matter, other than sleeping, eating, [View Full Entry]

Okay, stress of essay-writing has rendered the prospect of any kind of writing absolutely abhorrent. That doesn't even make sense. But anyway, we had a cultural studies trip to Oxford, and then the next weekend we went to the Kelvedon Cold War Bunker for Philosophy Class. No time to elaborate. Will have photos of Paris and Brussels the next time I update! Which will be after my Economics midterm and Politics essay. [View Full Entry]
