My exams are all finished and I am sitting at the dining table at Auntie Catherine's house eating white chocolate off of a spoon. They spoil me! I can't believe I've left the castle! I'm in Moral Issues class right now so can't really type too much, ahaha! On the weekend, when to London's West End and Soho for a Human Geography field study, then stayed at Auntie Catherine's for the night and had a big Sunday lunch at her house. Saw Auntie Marguerite, who popped into the sitting room as a surprise. Yes, I did! And I ain't ashamed, mwaahahaha. Okay, so I'm just going to paraphrase out of my travel journal because I have tons of work to do. So! In a nutshell, left for the Balearic Islands on Friday morning and managed to get back to the Castle in time for the last half of my politics class! Just had the most relaxing, adventurous weekend of the year! Okay so in 12 hours' time I will be chillaxing in Mallorca. Which is very well-deserved, considering the heinous amounts of essays/midterms I've had to write within the past couple of weeks. But I really shouldn't be complaining, seeing as in the middle I got to eat gauffre and laugh at the Manneken Pis and other things during our whirlwind trip to the continent. These were photos taken during our trip to the London School of Economics to hear a Politics lecture, and our Human Geography 101 walking tour of the Docklands and the City of London. I wrote a whole essay about it, yay. We ended up not being able to see our politics lecture, because a protest group had taken over the building and were holding rallies to free Palestine, etc. Very weird thing to be caught up in. Okay, stress of essay-writing has rendered the prospect of any kind of writing absolutely abhorrent. That doesn't even make sense. But anyway, we had a cultural studies trip to Oxford, and then the next weekend we went to the Kelvedon Cold War Bunker for Philosophy Class. No time to elaborate.
