It's been a while since we updated our blog bcoz we got a little disconnected while floating thru beautiful Laos. No electricity, internet, TV, we very much appreciated it. Something strange is happening to me
Something strange is happening to me
The hot and humid climate, maybe too much rice and noodles, maybe the spider I ate recently has make my hair grow in a strange way. I might contact the local doctor soon.
Good to see you popped in to check the latest news of our "World Amazing Discoveries Adventure Trip". Guess u r fine and everything's under control in your place, hope the daily business doesn't suck all your energy and power, try to keep a portion for the happy hours. With smiles on our faces and some teardrops in our eyes we crossed the border from Cambodia to Laos recently. You can feel the much slower pace immediately, this country seems still to be in a kind of suspend mode .. let's cross fingers that it will stay like this for quite [View Full Entry]

Hello dear Travelblog viewers, a very warm hello to everyone out there and again thanks very much for your support. Whenever a new comment or mesage pops in, it puts a big smile on our dusty rusty faces. After some "days off"in Sihanouk Ville to recharge our batteries we headed out to the capital of Cambodia Phnom Penh. Hard to believe that the country respectively the population experienced the darkest period in history not so long ago between 1975 and 1979 when this mad creature Pol Pot, leader of the communist red khmer movement, had driven the country into a terrible [View Full Entry]

or should I better say "nach dem Regen ist vor dem Regen" ? Shalom, bonjour, good morning guys & girls. Our last day in Vietnam today, heavy rainfalls are flushing us over the border to Cambodia. Can u send us some parapluies please. We started rushing southwards thru the country and finally found peace in the Mekong Delta aka the south Vietnam rice basket, where we spent the last few days strolling along the little rivers and canals. Irrigated and sprinkled by the Mekong River, this delta produced itself alone one-half of the rice of the country, which allows Vietnam to [View Full Entry]

Salut mes amis, everybody's doing alright we hope ? Life is treating you well and you're having a lovely time. Today's sunday, we assume youre taking a breath in the Haengematte, enjoying a good deal of ice-cold Gin Tonic. We had a perfect finish in Shangri-La, a place which is very rich in myths and legends. There's a saying that this holy piece of land used to preserve the youth, actually it contains loads of magic vibes and power. I can recommend the story "Lost Horizon" if you wanna get into it. Nevermind, shortly before got invited by the high lama [View Full Entry]

Folks, Friends, Family ... how are you doing ? Hope everybody is doing well and the approaching spring will spoil you with its first warm sunbeams. Well, depends on which part of the earth you are right now :) After 2 weeks in China and some heavy duty city experiences we decided to take a closer look to what China can offer in the beautiful countryside. We choosed Yunnan, started in the capital Kunming and keep crawling north, via Dali, Lijang, Tiger Leaping Gorge and finally Zhongdian. Since we are already very close to the Tibetan border we might be able [View Full Entry]

Hey Ho, greetings from China, how r u doing, what r u doing rrright now, eeeh ? Ah。 reading our travel update, that's fine :) Currently hanging out in Xi'an, one of the most important cities in chinese history。 It has been the capital of 13 dynasties, including the Zhou, Qin, Han, the Sui dynasty, and the Tang. and we're just a stone throw away from the world's rooftop. We are settled in the center of Kathmandu, in the tourist ghetto called Thamel. Not the traditional place, but ideal for making all kind of arrangements. Kathmandu Valley is also a perfect starting point for lots of trips for trekking, mountainbiking, canyoning, rafting etc. Kathmandu is a very busy place, lots of street action, you better mind your steps always while crawling thru the city, the danger that somebody runs over you is very acute. We spent the last days in Bangalore to burn some time with our beloved friends Mahesh & Swetha and their families, then after got trapped into the probably most touristic place in entire India, called Agra in the state Uttar Pradesh. The famous Taj Mahal is situated here and somebody told us, we may not leave the country w/o visiting it. Well ...
