| 4th August 2008 KB | You missed the hand AND the rat! - From: August: Getting Over the Hump So cool to see Magna Carta - My Earl of Salisbury was not actually given the title - but married Ela who was Countess. He is the illegitimate child of Henry II- half brother to John and Richard. That is one of my favorite eras in medieval history. So much intrigue - in fact - the earl may have been poisoned. When his tomb was opened - a well preserved rat was found in his skull and it had traces of arsenic. It (the rat) is at the museum in Salisbury. Too bad you missed that! Anyway - he is buried at Salisbury Cathedral. Hope we get to go there too. You rock! See you soon! |

| 11th July 2008 Ben | - From: Memoirs from the Isle of Erin I agree, buddy, it was a great trip, although it would've been better had Germany won it all. Just for posterity's sake, it was St. Stephen's Green, but all in all you did a fantastic job summing up the trip. Although you did forget to mention the Spanish women... Just kidding. |
| 11th July 2008 Katie | - From: Memoirs from the Isle of Erin Ireland sounds fabulous, but I think I would agree that to see the "real" ireland you need to go to the countryside...but then again I've never been there. Between you and my little brother (he's in France this summer) I feel like I have been in Europe before! |

| 24th June 2008 KB | Nude Beach - From: Je vais aller a la Nice You are very lucky to have only a FEW naked old ladies on the French Coast as the ones Adam and I saw were totally gross ( and so was the wrinkled little old guy) Don't swim naked and then sit on the beach chairs as the shrinkage becomes a problem as you eventually warm up - (Long story...call home for details) Sounds like the trip is turning out to be great. Say hey to M&M from the KGB. Aussie girls ROCK! A shout out to Aussie friend Jayne Gibson. Maybe Kristina knows the Gibsons. (South of Perth) P.S. Stay out of the sun peanut. Have a great stay in France!! Love KB |
