Then I headed to Seattle and met up with Travis there. We got picked up and went to Nick and Melissa's house. All the guys in nick's bridal party were in one place for the first time and everyone enjoyed each other. We had a great time and the wedding was held out on Neah Bay on the Olympic Peninsula. We went to a diner in the morning and heard about what detoit is now. We saw what Detroit is now. Its empty. Done. but things are starting low down. things are building. I stayed there for a while and worked with my mother's husband doing some pick up construction and saw old friends. We went to Tori's apartment and explored beautiful places. She took us to Compression Falls which is a steep hike in from the road and then you arrive at three consecutive falls that you can climb and swim up to the top and then jump off all of them in a row. He taps sugar maples around his property as well and he invited us all over to see his little operation. It was bigger scale than we had done and we got to see his make shift evaporator which worked really well. Travis and I got to take care of their home. Being alone in a cabin in the woods has been lovely. After so much time hopping from one place to another staying with friends and family it has been nice to have a place of our own.
