Well, well, well. It was finally here. The run of a lifetime and the reason Dave's made the trek to Europe. 'The Greatest Bullfighter' (as he'd been calling himself) was quite nervous to say the least. But before the run was to take place, we went to the opening ceremony where we were drenched in Sangria, water, wine and whatever else people poured on you from the balconies or sprayed at you in the crowd. Hi all, First of all, thanks to everyone for your comments. We are in Bruges at the moment and thought we had a spare hour or so to do the blog and we loved reading so many people's comments. Sorry to the LKS staff for the photos, but you know you loved em! So we've had an exciting start to the trip really. Hi all, Well, it's finally come around and gone - our last weekend in Dublin. Hectic, crazy, drinking, cleaning, organising, dancing, cuddling babies - it's had it all really. We've been here for five months now and it's been great, but it's time to move on and see some sunshine (without the rain and howling wind that's been quite common here during June - boo!) Hi all, No photos (for obvious reasons) but just like to direct you to a link that will give you an idea of what Dave and I did last Saturday morning at 3am - it was the funniest thing I've ever done in my life. Hi all, Well this was our last weekend trip - over to England to see a couple of cities and get out of Dublin. Liverpool was fantastic - cheap (that's what we like)) and the night life went off. Chester was really cool - really old Tudor style houses but they've maintained them so they look unreal. Enjoy the pics. Well it's been a while since our last update, haven't been up to much just chilling out and saving some cash for the main event. A few months ago we went to Galway so we're catching up on that one. Zoe was the driver this time. I lost a couple of years of my life to many near misses. Na, she was very good but the navigating was exceptional (yep, we had good road signs to follow this time). Hi all, Was great to see some familiar faces, even if it was the Foxes. Just joking Helen and John. It was so great to see them so happy and full of life. We met John's family and had some great craic down in Blessington on the way to the Wicklow Mountains. Great afternoon and lots of laughing and chatting. As you can see, this place is renowned for drinking. So Dave has been making the most of that while we've been here. You'll see him sampling many of the different beers available on tap and there's been plenty of occasions where we've forgotten the camera so this is only a short selection of the many drinking sessions.
