| 21st April 2006 Krystina | - From: 花見 Vol。2 - 満開 Full Bloom You describe everything so perfectly that I can taste Japan in my mouth and feel it in my fingertips. You know what I mean? The reminiscence is so nice, but in a meloncholy sort of way. I miss you and all the other Sem 4-ers soooo much! |

| 13th March 2006 G-ma | from the voice of experience - From: Yokohama Weekend Hi Zach, I sent you an e-mail earlier but I wanted to let you know that I go into your blogspot and view the photos and try to know what you are feeling by all that you see and do. I hope we never get too boring for you back here and that when you come home you won't be disappointed in being in Pennsylvania with your family. We cleaned the big porch off and got it spiffy for our cookouts. We have a new chime that is really beautiful sounding. We are in the midst of making our plans for our new addition to the house. I want to share the plans with you. So this Tsu is someone special, huh? More special than the other gals in your life? It takes two years to test the true feelings in a relationship and the compatibility, according to Dr. Laura. My belief is that Compatibility is really important. Communication and Compatibility, Caring enough, and being on the same wave. So, I will let that with you to ponder. I understand that Tsu is coming here to Nebraska for school. For how long? Well, I'll get back to the blogspot photos. Thanx for sharing and stay safe. Know that you are greatly loved. G-ma. |

I'm glad you're trying to maintain your purity though, *wink* Lots of stuff happening here... I got the forms so I can get my visa, there's a housing form we need to submit by July 6th in our email, I almost had to cancel the trip because my financial aid got screwed up, my dad went in the hospital, etc... but it's all better now. Except that I hurt my back at work the other day and have to go to the doctor now. Heh. Well, I don't know when you'll read this, but I hope you're safe and having fun. I can't wait for pics and stories when you get back! And, um, this is embarassing, but... I miss you! *hugs* |
| 22nd June 2005 kelly (mom) | missing you - From: First Impressions: Beijing Edition We are missing your talking to us on a daily basis. We are extremely proud of all your dreams you are attempting to make come true. You are much braver than your mom and dad, I don't know where you draw your courage from but I hope it is God and all his wisdom. He allowed me to be a mother 4 times, not sure why, but I thank him for trusting me with such a hard job. You all have diff. personalities and of course diff. problems, but we continue to believe all will work out to his glory. We miss you, worry of course about you and are anxious for your return, though that is not for another 5 weeks. Can't wait to see your pictures, and hear your stories. Japan is 2 months away now. see you soon love mom |

| 17th April 2005 anonymous | - From: Gaijins & Springtime Waah, just reading that made me appreciate the spring time even more! Sometimes I feel like I take these things for granted. Especially with the stress of finals and everything, I sometimes get too wrapped up in my own work and miss out on all the great stuff around me! Thanks for the beautiful reminder of how exhilarating life can be! - Kellie |

| 8th April 2005 suzi | oop's sorry its a bit long. - From: My Mind Feels Heavy Awe my little traveler! I am sure you will do jsut wonderfully! Don't put so much pressure on yourself! Just be prepared to change your major once you return to the states. Trust me after spending the summer on a mongolia stepp with Francis then you will be begging to be an archaeologist! Ah, well i wish i could join you on your travels dear but alas i will just sit here and be jealous. What do you mean is that all you offer? Zachy-chan you are a wonder and articulate human being, you are smart, and you are charming! Who could ever ask for a better friend! Don't be so down on yourself Zachy-chan. (you so know i am calling you that for the rest of the time we are firends! well at least until the end of the semester) So Zach just sit back and quite worrying about what people think of you, and just take what life is giving you. You only live once, eh? I'll pray for you buddy! .suzi |
