Firstly, in gratitude of my granduncle’s great hospitality, I must list the number of places he brought me to visit within a short frame of 2 days: 珠江夜游,北京路, 广州 exhibition & convention centre, 越秀山,中山纪念堂,陈家祠,宝墨园,白云山,上下九步行街,沙面,白天鹅酒店, 500 luohans, liu rong temple Btw, My granduncle is 73 years old, but more fit than I am! And finally we had a fruitful and cooling shopping spree at Lady’s World, where we managed to buy more than we could carry in a matter of two hours. Dinner was takeaway 酸辣粉, and delicious Octopus and Mutton skewers we ... read more

26th Thursday ñ The Airport transfer is painful. We wait (for the rest of the transfer passengers from other hotels to arrive) n we wait (for the bus to come) n we wait (for our turn to alight at our hotel). ñ (@ Dinner) I am absolutely satisfied with the night tour because I am convinced we would not have attained so many things w/o professional arrangement. And of course, the dinner at 全聚德 rox! We had the honour of being the last to leave the tables and cleaning every single morsel of Peking duck off the plates (we convinced ourselves we should not waste food). ñ (@ Z Peak) Victoria Peak Night View is simply stunning. Equally stunning are some apartments up the hill. Am so so so … in love with the scenery. I ... read more
