Life and adventure - From: The Last Blog
Hope you guys are settling well in the UK. It's true what you say about travel and your perception of the world. After being to Africa and recently seeing Blood Diamond I didn't stop crying for half an hour. Seeing and knowing what people face day to day makes your attitude change. But on a positive note there is hope and I know no matter how small we can make a positive impact on the world.

Amazing discoveries - From: The Last Blog
While I was following your trip around the world step by step, you guys have exactly pointed out the real meaning of travelling with this "final chapter"...an internship with the Human Being, valuable for any career you may decide to go for...I'm happy for you and hope your example will be followed by others, it's not a matter of where you go but how you go...Wish you good luck for everything!

Good onya - From: The Last Blog
D & Y; Well said. It's lovely that you are able to share your inner-most reflections on this most challenging of adventures... I have still got about two months remaining on my own trip (currently in Bangkok, Thailand) & I am delighted to have shared some of it with you... When I look @ my Australian World Cup Green & Gold water bottle, I am reminded of that night in Turbo, Kenya, when we watched Australia draw with Croatia via that little message on the corner of the TV. Ring the bells, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Love & regards, Greg Eccleston http://www.getjealous.com/Lothar

Well in youse two adventurers - From: The Last Blog
Hi dudes, loved your last blog and seeing more of the pics. Yvie, I hear what you say particularly about work and the concept of 'putting all that money into a house' but seriously, we've got another 60 odd years to do all that. Despite now paying off travel debts, Benno and I wouldn't have given up our year of travel for anything, and we're pumped that we could spend some of it with you! We also appreciate home more than we did before + look forward to getting our website up so you can read and see our stuff, but more importantly, reminisce about it all over again. May the force be with you in the UK - write soon and let us know how it's all going. Huge hugs, Bex + Benno. xxx

Wow you mirror my thoughts - From: The Last Blog
Guys, i just stumbled across your latest entry(for some reason the update function is not working) as I set up a blog for our Raleigh expedition here in Costa Rica, as I read your entries I have a tear because what you talk about is exactly and frankly what my experience has brought me to and I agree with everything you say, particularly about the stuff about being able to live happily off nothing. Ill look forward to seeing you in the Northern hemisphere this summer. Lots of Love Bella xx

Heck - sadness - From: Two Little Dogs and Two Big Cities
I don't believe it. I'm sad it is over for you two too. You have certainly deserved the experiences you have had - you clearly made the most of it!!! The sadness isn't lessened by the fact you are turning on your heels and heading straight to the UK either. I am beginning to feel like I have got it all wrong and I am the one living overseas!!! My exotic Australian adventure - 28 years and counting :)

Lucky Ducks! - From: Bienvenidos Y'All!
What a fantastic trip you've had - something you'll remember all of your lives. I've really enjoyed your travelblogs - you should look at writing some travel BOOKS!! Dom - your mum tells me you'll be spending some time back in the UK which has made her VERY happy I can tell you. Things downunder for this unbronzed aussie are fine - everyone's well and Cat and Mousty are in the throes of buying house/land/mortgage with all the usual trappings - and I mean trappings - some builders really are products of unmarried parents aren't they? !! Have a great time in London and no doubt I'll be kept up to date with your "activities" Lots of love to you both - Jo
