Taxi Time

Spent a year as an English teacher by day, journalist by night, living in the heart of Seoul. Taught unforgettable students, many of whom I would love to see ten years from now- and worked with some amazing girls whom I'll never forget. Seoul has so much to offer- beautiful streets to meander through on weekends. Side trip? Beijing, China!

I was consumed by the travel bug during my first summer of university. I had four months of freedom, so rather than apply for a restaurant job in my small (albeit beautiful and quaint) hometown of Port Perry, I applied to teach English in Madrid, Spain. I managed to become an Au Pair for an ah-mazing spanish family, who took me in, and allowed me to travel around Spain with them in exchange for teaching their three children English.
