Good weather and a nice long ride.Great place for trekking and bouldering. http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/blog-457771.html Qanat Al Qasba One of the old favourites for photo shoot and coffee. Weather is turning out to be real nice now Still no news of Sharjah Aquarium location. Seems like they don't want us to find it. http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Sharjah/blog-457767.html Empty Quarter Opens Up again Yeah been a real bad year for traveling. I am sure everyone would agree with me what with the depression going on Then again the itch doesn't stop so gotta hop on a car and head where the road takes you. The long summer is finally over and we decided to head back into the desert in our rented FJ Cruiser. Great car with lots of goodies and no good on sand Traction control is useless so was the d http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Empty-Quarter/blog-443191.html Dubai Zoo Though the pics have a happy spin don't let the humour fool you. These animals live in the shittiest of places on our planet. It stinks boiling heat from the tin roofs and noise from Jumeirah road. And the cages are ultra small. Imagine if u were put in a room with no bathroom and made to live there for the rest of your life. That's what these poor things go through. I hate this placeAnd I am g http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Dubai/blog-406767.html Lele Kawa in Dubai Mall Cliff Diving in Hawaiian. Pretty good place to hang out and get some shots. The divers were made of an alloy but the struts supporting them at hip were dissapointingly iron bars. Common Dubai mall Worlds biggest mall can do a little better http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Dubai/blog-406764.html Liwa. Again This time around I rented a Hummer H3 for the trip. Guess what it sucks in sand. Too heavy so sinks in easily and I somehow felt it was way too underpowered for all the hype we hear about them. I am sure all you Humvee dune bashers are raring to prove me wrong so guess what Prove me wrong All in all a good trip. Stopped for grub at Liwa Resthouse and nice photo ops. Enoy the pics http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Liwa/Moreeb-Dune/blog-395683.html Al Airshow 2009 http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Al-Ain/blog-373539.html Mumbai Three days before the Attack Just like the Bangkok trip this one came close to getting me in a fix too. Flew out of Suvarnabhumi Airport just hours prior to the Coup. Feel lucky I came out of Mumbai before the terrorist attacks this time around. 195 others weren't that lucky. Coincidentally I went to all the places that were targeted. Yeah lot of people kept their act together and saved a lot of lives. Very impressed with NSG http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/India/Maharashtra/Mumbai/blog-349699.html Caves rivers and a whole lot of rains After the hustle and bustle of Bangkok this was the ideal get away. Actually where I stayed was a little more of that. Quite a distance from the city we reached a pier and took a boat in the night to the middle of the jungle to this resort called River Kwai Resotel. Brilliant place. Completely cut off from the world it was a nature freaks haven There is a cave to explore nearby waterfalls ele http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Western-Thailand/Kanchanaburi/blog-321445.html Hey you Where you going Want see ping pong show Well the lure of orient has got me too. Quite a place I should say. Thoroughly enjoyed the steets the sights the shopping the food not really the people and the the erm... nightlife. I meant partying u perverts. Not everyone goes to Thailand for Soi Cowboy Went everywhere except King Palace since I was kinda waking up a little late everyday Got myself a massage done to work out the tr http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-319689.html Muscat Highlights In and out of Muscat for a week. Except for the weekend I was slogging at work. Almost all the pics are taken at night post work hours. Omanis are really friendly and its easy to blend in the crown if ur not too flashy or touristy. Very idylic and sometimes boring. Dont go without company. Guess what They have booze http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/Oman/Muscat/blog-291452.html One of those days. An especially low day. Wanted to get away from it all and meet up with some old friends. Friends that act on pure instinct and take you for what you are. No words needed just your presence. http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Al-Ain/blog-285312.html The City Of Love Well well. Finally here. Always wanted to find a girl I would Kill for get on top of Eiffel tower and say this is it. Just did. We had a great time there though the weather was depressingly cold and damp we found out own spots of happiness and warmth. Paris is indeed what everything on the package says. We were put up quite a distance away from the city centre but the transportation was a breeze http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/France/Ile-de-France/blog-268393.html Lake Konstanz One of the most serene places in south of germany. Bordered by three countries I guess and some really cool history to it. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Baden-W-rttemberg/Konstanz/blog-262937.html Baden Baden Easily the most beautiful of German cities. Pretty lanes old buildings the streams the blooms and an old castle. To top it off its been a spa since the roman times boasting natural mineral water springs bang in the town Apparently the maximum number of german millionares live here. And the only reason this bit of land was spared the hammering during the war was the French have decided to set u http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Baden-W-rttemberg/Baden-Baden/blog-262764.html Stuttgart Went visiting Merc Museum. Imagine four floors of endless loops and packed with hot as hell cars Then went walking around in the town. Kinda good day with nice clouds. Snowed a bit. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Baden-W-rttemberg/Stuttgart/blog-262106.html Munich The State where the army staioned get one free beer every day I thought they just beleived in Oktober fest. Bring on the pretzel dear gretel http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Bavaria/Munich/blog-262656.html All About Animals Well went again to get some nice shots. Got a chance to reaquaintain myself with my wilder side.Loved the big cats. Felt really sad for the Gorilla again. It just sat facing the wall while all the jerks kept banging on the glass to get its attention. Pityful sight. I just walked away. Couldn't stand it. Kaushal Kavita I am a really bad person for making this one without you. I am sorry http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Al-Ain/blog-249300.html Dolphin Hunting Well Oman this time around. About four hours drive with a lot of stops for photos. Hotel was good and so were the people. Did a dhow tour lil bit of trekking and getting wet in the rain. Saw lots of dolphins swimmin around birds walkin around and people fooling around. It was freezing cold though and it was raining cats and dogs. We were waiting with our cameras for a bit of sunshine to get some http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/Oman/Musandam-Peninsula/Khasab/blog-239571.html Dizzying drops Dangerous trails and long Drags. Off again to our good 'ol Hafeet with Neeli and Matthias friends dropped in for Christmas from Bundesrepublik. Climbed the rock all the way to the top. Stopped by in the dunes and got grub at Abu Dhabi. Met up Tejas for touristy sight seeing. Thats pretty much it I guess. Missed having my girl around on this one. I guess in this trek there is more focus on people than the trek itself http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/United-Arab-Emirates/Al-Ain/Jebel-Hafeet/blog-231651.html
