Yeah, I dunno. It's a mountain. And a sun.
Howdy, So yeah, i'm still here. There just hasn't been a lot to talk about. Still in Tongzi, Guizhou. To be honest.....it kinda sucks here. There really isn't anything to do. There's one park that no one really goes to, and aside from there all there is to do is wander around the city like a hobo. The city is extremely small so I can pretty much walk through everything in an hour or so and it's pretty boring. No one here really speaks English outside of English teachers and students, so there's no one to talk to, no one to [View Full Entry]

Hey. So after I bought my plane ticket to Chongqing and I prepared to leave. Unfortunately I had to leave at like 7am. Why do I always have to leave so early? But I was very upset namely because I came back to China with the understanding that I was going to Hunan and now here I am flying to Chongqing and I have way too much crap that is overweight. So after investigation (More talking to the employee's that have no idea about the answers to my questions when they are very typical questions and it's their job to know [View Full Entry]

Hi. So yeah, my laptop basically didn't have internet access the entire time I was in Yangshuo so I could update about anything I was doing or anything. So needless to say i've forgotten a lot of junk. Oh well. Took the train to Guilin and I had so much freaking garbage it was quite annoying. Luckily some of my friends brought me to the train station and they were allowed to at least help me bring my junk on board. I could have done it by myself, but it would have been annoying. So as I said previously the Changsha [View Full Entry]

Hey everyone! So here's what happened. I went on New Years holiday and so much junk happened that I just never got around to writing about it all. Yeah, i've been lazy about it leave me alone! So what's been happening? I finished the school year, went back to the USA and decided to come back to China for another year. whee! So we will basically pick up like I was never gone and just start writing about junk. Aight so this time I came to China was probably one of the worst and most exhausting experiences i've ever had and [View Full Entry]

Wow. So what a holiday i've had. I've spent New Years in Hawaii, with friends, without friends (mostly without friends KUKU! :( ) But this year was bar none the best holidays i've ever had. Amazing new friends, amazing new girlfriend (yeah yeah i'm sure you all heard from someone by now.) and an amazing new country. First off let me explain something. Christmas is NOT a holiday that is recognized by the Chinese government. More and more people are celebrating it every year, but it is not a national holiday. That being said.....students still had school. But I didn't. Why? [View Full Entry]

Haven't been doing much since we came home from HK. Chillin' mostly and being shocked at Christmas being 10 days away. Students keep asking what i'm doing for Christmas and i'm sure none of you care. But for the sake of writing something let me tell you what i'm doing. Nothing. I only have 1 day holiday (Christmas Day) and that isn't enough time to umm......do anything at all.... the Headmaster told the FAO's to treat us as part of their families, so he's paying for a huge meal for us. The FAO's have also expressed interest in throwing a party [View Full Entry]

Welcome to Hong Kong
So a lot has happened in the last few weeks. First of all, I got real sick. It took about 2 months, but I finally caught a Chinese cold of death. Basically it consisted of me hacking up my lungs at all times of day and a never ending flow of mucus. LUCKILY, it was during the weekend so I didn't miss any classes though the FAO was prepared to let me have a day off to rest should it come to that. Our FAO's are pretty awesome actually. BUT, it sucked because A) I missed English corner because of it [View Full Entry]

Wow so somehow i've neglected to write for almost a month. So where to begin? Actually not very much has happened. I've fallen into the routine of class > home > Food > sleep so between that there's been basketball and Chinese classes and stuff and that's about it. So anyway, a few weeks ago, near the end of the week we were so gracefully informed that the next week (which was last week) we would only have class on Monday and Tuesday as the students will be having exams from Weds - Fri. So I was excited about that because [View Full Entry]

Celebrate the summer, dive into the sea. Celebrate the feeling, you and me. Take me to the ocean, living it supreme. Take me to the hot summer dream! First let me get it out of the way and say that all the pictures that are posted in this update are from the last posting I made. That is, these pictures are from National Holiday and not from this week. Ok now that that songs out of the way. Last weekend we decided to go check out the University. Actually....first we went to find out where it was. We were told it [View Full Entry]

Suuuuuuuup! So yeah, been a few weeks. Not much has happened. Been teaching etc which has been great. Been eating lots of authentic Chinese food which has been amazing. Other than that, nothing exciting really. Playing basketball etc blah blah blah. So we got to National Holiday already. I don't know what this holiday is all about. All I know is that I get 7 days vacation which I don't complain about. The bad thing was that I had to work on the Saturday and Sunday before it to make up for two lost days or something I have no idea, [View Full Entry]
