| 24th November 2008 Barbara and David | Thank you - From: Bird Life of Goa. Wondeful bird pictures! When I get home I'll look in my books to see if I can identify the yellow thing. Pretty sure it's a "little yellow thing" but will need to check. Sunny but very cold here. The warm sunshine you send is appreciated! x |
| 23rd November 2008 Alyson | Snow! - From: India Day 8- Goa (Mapusa)- Friday What fantastic photos. They remind me so much of Sri Lanka and how I wish I could go again. Birds are gorgeous, Well we have had the first spinkle of snow! Cath and Stan have had a full covering of snow in the North East and Stan played 2 holes of golf yesterday in a blizzard apparently! Warmed up a bit today and I have been cooking - winter warmers - so want to be in the warmth Christmas is coming though. yippee! |
| 22nd November 2008 Wrighty | Re: Good Morning! - From: India Day 7- Goa (Panjim): Thursday Hi Barbara. You dark horse- we had no idea that you and David are closet twitchers. We've taken loads of avian piccies so promise to put some on the Saturday blog. You might be able to tell us what some of them are! Love, K and S xx |
| 21st November 2008 Barbara | Good morning! - From: India Day 7- Goa (Panjim): Thursday We love the bird pictures - keep them coming, please. It's a grey, cold morning here in Sheffield but I'm off into the garden soon to top up the food for my birds. No indian kingfishers but we had to dispose of a dead Jay on Sunday (it was obviously a half-wit and had flown into the kitchen window). Gloom has indeed descended on England - forget the credit crunch - how can we get through the departure of John Sargeant?! Sending you both love. x |
| 19th November 2008 Alyson | Strictly - From: India Day 6- Goa I know you couldn't care less but the headline news in tomorrow's papers will be that John Serjeant has quit Strictly Come Dancing! I imagine that BBC World will have the news just before the Incredible India ad or after the Malaysia Truly Asia ads - how will I cope with Saturday evenings without him! have fun! lol xxx |

| 17th November 2004 anonymous | Wildlife - From: A Week in Nimbin Your week in Nimbin sounded fascinating. Very impressed with all the bushwalking.I'm disappointed you didn't encounter any spiders or snakes but i'm sure Kate's close call with leeches brought back memories of the homeland Canada for Sharon! |
| 12th November 2004 anonymous | Feeding possums - From: Bondi to Coogee Good to know that there is finally a purpose for McDonalds fries! |
| 9th November 2004 anonymous | Possums - From: Feeling Manly I thought i'd be the first to add a comment, Sharon. Your tales of Sydney brought back lots of memories for me. I remember how impressive the harbour is , no matter how many times you go there. The funny thing about possums is,although people think they're cute and cuddly in Aussie, here in NZ they're treated as vermin because they kill the native wildlife, including kiwis. One word of warning, don't get sucked into buying an Akubra hat, that traditional souvenir, because they're made of rabbit skin!! Looking forward to your next update. Heather |
