This expression is not right: "familia de hospedaje de mi tiempo como". I understand it, but it would be clearer like this: "familia que me hospedó cuando era alumno de..." I dont think we have in Spanish an expression for "host family"..

your expression "crearme" is not right in this context. You have to use "hacerme". It's like in English, the difference between make and do. "Crear" usually involves a state only achieved by "thinking", or "being creative". Congratulations, your Spanish is quite good.
